Abdominal Binder, 9 Inch - 3 Panel - Medium/Large 46" - 62"

I am a repeat customer. I have had numerous surgeries and need a binder to keep everything in place rather than endure more surgery. This binder is great for me. The wide area to "hook" the binder makes it easy to adjust on a given day, and the long Velcro section--rather than little Velcro tabs that some other binders use--makes me feel secure all day in this binder. The three sections that go vertically around my body make this binder less rigid for when I try to sit down or even bend over. Some binders are too rigid for those of us who must wear them daily and for the rest of our lives. I do hand wash the binder in my sink and let it air dry.

I got a DeRoyal abdominal binder after my surgery (I was wearing it when I woke up.) I thought I was getting another just like the one I have. I was so excited when it was on here. This is not a Deroyal binder. It's the brand name McKesson. It does not have the nice, thick panel of velcro like the DeRoyal one does which helps to protect the surgical area, makes it so the elastic does not stretch as much over the surgical areal, and is much more difficult to attach. There is much less structure to it than the DeRoyal brand. This is false advertising.

My wife got the first one in the hospital after a surgery I took a picture of the tag and try to get her a second one just like the other but they are different and shr complains about the one I just purchase becasue the mesh in between the parallel bands scratch her belly, not very happy with that.

This binder is much better than others because it is angled so that it can be looser at the bottom and tighter at the top. Most people's bodies are built this way, but most other binders don't account for this.
