Good ice melter, safe for pets
It’s a bit pricey but I wanted a product that was pet friendly. It also doesn’t skimp on the melting aspect. I’m glad I bought this.

It's not like salt, so you won't get the same effect of salt, which is far better at stopping ice - we're in the middle of a snow storm for 2 days with more coming, I've been slightly sprinkling this on my walkway and driveway and it's been stopping all ice buildup. I'm very grateful. Now - how do I get my HOA to do the streets? That's an icy mess and if I could afford it, I'd buy enough to do my entire street so I could walk my dog safely.One thing I would suggest - don't use it unless you're getting snow, otherwise it will leave a little blue color; however, when that happened to me, I poured down some water on it and the blue vanished. Great product. I just ordered my 3 order, this time the largest tub it comes in. It snows a lot in OH!

TLDR: ❄️ Melts ice and snow instantly, pet-friendly. 👍 Best used before heavy snowfall. 💰 High cost for frequent use on a small area.I recently tried out this ice melt product, and I must say, it's impressively effective. It starts working on contact with ice and snow, quickly melting them away. As a pet owner, I was particularly pleased to find that it doesn't bother my dogs' paws, a major concern with many other products.I've discovered it's most efficient when applied preemptively, just as the snow starts to fall. This proactive approach seems to reduce the amount needed and maximizes its effectiveness.However, there's a significant downside: the cost. I used it sparingly on my modest-sized property, and to my dismay, I had already gone through about 75% of the 35lb bucket after just one snowfall. Considering the price tag of over $70, it's quite steep for regular use. Although I appreciate the product's effectiveness and pet-friendliness, the expense makes it unlikely for me to purchase it again. It's a great product, but its high cost is a substantial barrier for frequent use, especially for those of us with smaller properties to maintain.

Ice gone and no worry concerning harmful ingredients harming your pets.
This is the only ice melt I will use. Poodles never had an issue with walking on it melts the ice great.

Poor container
Plastic container was cracked open. Contents arrived spilled all over other items in box. A mess. Ooor/weak container! Want to return it but don’t have a container to put it in. Have not yet used the product to assess its quality.

Works and it's environmentally safe.
I wanted a safe product to melt ice on walkway and this stuff works great. I wasn't expecting it to work as well as it does. Very happy with purchase. You don't need to put it on too heavily either. A little lasts as long time. Does leave white residue, but better that than having someone slip in the ice. Would buy again.
