Hideyuki Kikuchi's Vampire Hunter D Volume 7

Been collecting and reading this version of the VHD manga's and I thought this was the last one to release. Its more great VHD adventures. Does not disappoint. Manga #8 was stuck with a French only release until a year or 2 ago. Its english release finally gave us the complete set.

This book wad great. My only complaint is that I was so into it I procrastinated on doing my chores.

I've waited a long, long time for this volume to be released and I was ecstatic when it came in the mail. Be forewarned; it is part one to a two part story so the second part will probably take some time to be released. Like I said in another view, these mangas are actually very closely based off the novels and don't deter too much from them. As always, D is magnificent. He glows with that ethereal, gothic dark beauty that Kikuchi likes to draw attention on. The characters in his novels, male and female, tend to describe D as gorgeous, which I think is an understatement in D's case. His beauty, inside and out, is beyond the world of the mortals.

Last month (Nov 2015), Digital Manga revealed that the Vampire Hunter D manga series is officially cancelled. This likely comes as no huge surprise, as these books have been constantly delayed since volume 2. However, D fans like myself will be upset to learn that this volume (7) leaves us with only the first part of wonderful "Mysterious Journey to the North Sea" story told, and that volume 8 does indeed exist - both in French and Japanese (a quick eBay search will put you on the right path) but will not see a release on US shores.

Great manga will buy volm 8 and hope to finish the whole series soon does anyone know if 8 is out

Saiko Takaki is definitely an manga artist to look out for. The artwork is very dark and mysterious, yet very appealing. D as always is gorgeous and all powerful, but I'm glad that our heroine is no pushover. I think there were some errors in terms of speech bubbles where lines were swapped (due to the rush to publish, maybe?) and the ending was very abrupt, but I can't wait to see the conclusion of the North Sea saga.

Vampire hunter D once again hunts more monsters and Vampires

I love creations of the author. I enjoy his books. D is my favorite character and I'm a long time fan. I'm waiting for volume 8.

Amazing and exciting just like the rest of the series

A must read for VHD fans. I can't wait for D next adventure, hopefully it'll be soon. I can't get enough.

Un excelente manga, basado obviamente en la novela, lamentablemente no está la continuación ni en inglés ni español a manera de manga solo está el libro y el cual también adquirí para poder terminar la historia, espero que algún día lo tengamos en español porque el inglés que maneja es un poco rebuscado y tengo que ir a cada rato al diccionario, jaja nada que no se pueda hacer claro está (not an stupid for english either), pero no hay como la lengua materna.

I have all the copy's of vampire hunter D manga from Hideyuki Kikuchi as love the story and art work. Shame was delayed but sadly that is the nature of the beast with manga
