Great product, takes all shake out of video!
The media could not be loaded. This gimbal works great. I mounted a GoPro Hero4 Silver to a bike mount on my handlebars and there was a lot of shake in the video. I took my bike out today and used the gimbal on the bike mount and it took out all the shake. Great product! It comes with quit a few accesories - Stabilizing gimbal, Camera protection sticker for pan motor, GoPro accessory adapter (screws in bottom of gimbal and then attach to any GoPro mount), video output and charging cable, camera charging cable, micro USB cable, Battery charger, 4 batteries (18350 Li-Ion, 900mAh each), hand held monopod and carrying case. Works with a wireless remote (sold separately) or use the free app. See the attached video where I tested the gimbal this morning. GoPro Hero4 SIlver mounted in the gimbal and the gimbal mounted to a handle bar mount.Note: On upload Amazon severely reduced the quality of my video, so I don't recommend trying to watch it full screen. The original upload was high quality at 15,000 kbps.

Portable, easy to use, stable, overall great gimbal
Fantastic gimbal, works as described. Does have a bit of learning curve if you're new to gimbals. I had the Zhiyun Evolution which had the long handle attached to it but I got this one bc it's newer and it's smaller/more portable. I needed this especially bc I travel quite a bit and this makes it easier to carry. If I need a handle, they provide one for you in-box that you can screw on/off with quarter-inch. They also give you brackets for both Hero 4 and Hero 5, which is awesome. One last favorite about this gimbal is that I can attach it to my other GoPro accessories (selfie pole, tripod, gorilla pod, chest mount, alligator clip mount) to really make it versatile!

Not ready fo prime time.
Had issues when using this in a moving car. It gets out of sync and the horizon line slowly goes back and forth like you are on a boat. It worked ok in the house. Had difficulty trying to update the firmware on a PC and on my Android Galaxy 6 edge. Seems like they are not quite ready for prime time. I would wait or buy an american based version of this so you have some support. Amazon took it back no problem but who needs the hassle.

I was initially disappointed with how the gimbal was calibrated out of the ...
Received the Rider-M yesterday and had a chance to play with a bit with my Hero 4.I was initially disappointed with how the gimbal was calibrated out of the box as the pitch and roll were both a bit off. ie. the Hero 4 was tilted a bit forward and the horizontal alignment was a bit off. It seemed to correct itself slowly after sitting for awhile, not optimal. I decided to try to calibrate the gimbal using the instruction in the included short user guide, which was of no help. I ultimately went online, downloaded the gimbal tools from the Zhiyun website and ran through the calibration steps. This seemed to work and at start up the gimbal now looks calibrated as expected. I'd also suggest checking/updating the firmware as well while you have the gimbal connected to your computer. The firmware can be downloaded from the Zhiyun site and installed through the gimbal tools app.A couple notes:- In pan following mode, the gimbal takes quite a while to get back to center, I'm not sure if this is by design or a defect. I'm going to play with the setttings through the app to see if it can be adjusted. i don't think it will cause any issues in use but just a bit annoying to see that it doesn't fully return to center.- The Zhiyun app and the EVO app for iOS are basically the same and I am using the EVO app with the Rider-M as it seems a bit more complete. The apps are a bit glitchy and could definitely use some improvement in function and usability.- I saw inconsistent feedback on whether an extension stick is included with the gimbal. Mine purchased from Fotopal did indeed include the extension stick, along with the 4 batteries/charger, gopro mount, soft carrying case, USB cable and AV cable.I've yet to use it for my intended activities (Skiing, Motorcycling) but initial testing, running around the neighborhood and driving definitely produce much smoother footage. I'll update the review after some additional usage.

Great Gimbal
Very nice gimbal. Worth the price. The bluetooth app is wonderful as well.I only have 2 issues, doesnt fit the Hero 5 but that just came out a week ago. Its too big. Not a deal breaker as there are ways around it it and it does fit the Yi 4K perfectly (which I purchased not realizing the hero 5 was in stock, but I kept the Yi 4K anyway as its really nice too). Havent had a chance to test for its intended purpose just yet, which is for mountain biking but I have no concerns of it not being up to the task.Second is I would have felt much better if the gopro mount adapter was aluminum and not plastic. Not a great idea for this kind of weight. The "other" gimbal that was the one thing that I really liked about it. But it didnt check any of the boxes for what I was after. Zhiyun (EVO) got it right in all aspects except this. Had to pull 1 star (would have only been a 1/2 star but you cant do that)My one request is a water resistant version. I ride road, trail and I fat bike in the snow. Id like to know it had at least some basic water resistance (even the Yi 4K outside of the case I wouldnt be afraid of using in the snow). Or simply a slicone cover to fit around the base that would keep all but heavy rains and such out of it. Theres several ways to protect against basic water exposure that dont require a major redesign. Hope to see something soon before the snows hit.

Works great when it works but now it DOESNT!
I've used this for a month while on a trip to Iceland. It worked great and did well on stabilization. After a month of constant use the base now spins uncontrollably and makes a loud buzzing sound. I spent $326 and now it's useless. Where is the warranty?!
