Stylish, cool-looking!
You need a toaster right? Best get a cool looking one! Seems like a good price for a 4 slice that looks this good. Works fine but it's only been a month or so. Well packed & arrived quickly.

Good retro look, very accurate timers, best for smaller sliced bread
Quite a big, well-made toaster. There are two timers (L & R) so that one can save energy by using only one 'bank' if toasting just two pieces of bread/crumpet/whatever. When using both sides, the timer on each bank' is very accurate and both side/banks will pop up at the same time.I would have given this 5 stars but for the fact that the toaster is best suited to 400g loaf bread slices, rather than the slightly larger 800g loaf slices, which need a bit of trimming to fit comfortably.

Slow at browning the toast
I really love the look of this toaster but it is very slow making toast. I like a good colour on my bread and I put it on 6 twice so it looks toasted. A bit disappointing

TOATIE SNACK JIMMY
Fantastic product, better than my last one hat waste of money. This one does your toast just how you like it, just remember to put it on the correct setting. Very fast at toasting bread, bagels and warming up flat breads.

Lovely little Toaster
Overall, I'm very pleased with the Haden Jersey Toaster. I purchased the putty colour, which is both subtle and tasteful.The pros:I like that the top is moulded in a way that crumbs don't catch and get trapped around the top rim, like so many other toasters, making this easy to wipe clean. So far, it's toasting evenly and the wide slots take breakfast muffins easily. The design is more compact than my last toaster, so I've regained a small amount of workspace. I love the independent browning controls and the cable tidy feature hides most of the wire neatly away.It's a light weight model but has good balance and a positive, stable mechanism compared to some toasters, which are prone to toppling when you push down the lever handle.Could be better:My one real niggle is that the slots are a little shallow, so that about 1cm of a normal bread slice protrudes at the top.Whilst this model doesn't include a lift and view mid cycle or a bagel feature (toasts on one side only), I've never had these features before, so don't really miss them, but might be nice to have... Although, personally, I prefer my bagels toasted on both sides anyway.On balance:If this toaster was slightly taller with deeper slots, with a slightly higher lift mechanism to compensate for the extra depth, it would fit my needs perfectly.
