OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES SCREENLESS Case Case for iPhone 12 mini - TEAL ME ABOUT IT (GUACAMOLE/CORSAIR)

I’ve had OtterBox Defender cases on my iPhones for years. I just got the iPhone 12 mini and promptly ordered this defender case.I love that this case no longer has the film over the screen. I had always removed mine, preferring other screen protectors. So now I don’t have that hassle.Everything else is the same quality and durability. I have not attempted to charge it wirelessly, so I cannot say if it is effective.Worth the money to have 4x military grade impact protection.Review Update: First 12 Mini Defender case purchase was November 2020, replacement case purchased February 2022.The first case was still functional and firm, however its tab covering the lightning jack tore off, so I decided to replace it.The belt clip, which I use on a daily basis had also broken recently.I am pretty rough with my phone, accidentally dropping it frequently, so the Defender case is a must for me.I am very happy with its durability and protection. My iPhone still looks brand new.

The Otterbox Defender case is still fantastic. Although they now miss the front plastic protective glass, not a problem. You can get plenty of cheap quality glass protectors on Amazon. They even have a tray now that makes it almost foolproof to put on.I have dropped my new phone a few times with this case on. Phone still good as new. And yes, it works with the round wireless charger. At least with mine. I have no problems charging right through the case. I lay it on top and reposition it a little. And you do get a good grip with this case. It has a rougher rubber type texture.The only people having problems with taking the case on and off are the ones not familiar with an Otterbox case. They are so easy once you do it once or twice. And the price was right on Amazon.Very happy. Highly recommend!NOTE: I was not promised and DID NOT receive any $$ or any other rewards for my review. I will spare you from having to read another positive review about the OtterBox Defender. It is just good!Now to all baffled with bubble issues with their screen protectors with this case, I have the perfect solution after a couple of trial and errors. By now, I’m sure most people are familiar with the otterbox defender series of cases. This case is of the same high quality construction and material as the others, making me feel very confident that it will help protect my phone in the event of a drop.This case does not have the plastic film screen protector like the otterbox cases of old, meaning you will need to install your own protector if you choose. I installed a tempered glass screen protector with mine and it works with the case without any issues.My main concern/disappointment with this case is that it interferes with wireless charging. I upgraded from an iPhone 7 and was excited to finally get some use out of the wireless charging pad in my vehicle, only to find out that my iPhone 12 Mini will not charge wirelessly with this case on. I’ve yet to try it out on other types of wireless chargers, but I can confirm my phone worked on the wireless charging pad prior to putting this case on it.Overall, I feel good knowing that my phone is protected if I drop it, but I really wish my wireless charging pad would work with this case. 3/5.

The Otterbox Defender Series provides excellent protection for iPhones. In this design they have taken into account that non-Apple Lightning plugs tend to be a little bit wider than OEM and made to access port a little wider to accommodate this. This is nice attention to detail.I really wish that OtterBox would go back to making a version of the Defender Series with an integrated screen protector, like the one for the iPhone 6S. The separate screen protectors seem to be next to impossible to get to adhere correctly, and the frame from the case can push up on the edges, worsening any air bubbles at the edges of the screen.Other than that, I think the Defender is a great case for protecting your iPhone investment.

I've had Defender cases on my phones since 2013 and this is just as good as any of the previous ones. I tried a couple off-brand Defender clones, but none matched the fit and finish of a real Otterbox. Before it arrived, I was a little torqued that the color selection doesn't match any of the available iPhone 12 colors very well, but in person the case color combo (Corsair blue/Guacamole green) is really pleasing with a blue iPhone. I found that a Zagg screen protector fits perfectly between the edges of this case.

This case will not work with the iPhone 12 mini. When the case is on the touch screen is rendered useless. Cannot swipe up to open (raise to wake was turned off to conserve battery), and if you can get it to wake it won’t even accept the passcode. Took it off and put it back on 4 times, same thing happened each time. Phone works perfectly without the case. The case wraps around the edge too much for the touchscreen to work properly.

I just bought an iPhone 12 and, like my iPhone 6S, I wanted to protect it the best I could so it would last and I would not have to replace it if I suffered a bout of severe clumsiness.I can tell you from actual experience, having dropped my phone 3 times on concrete floors from 4 feet, that this case does what it's supposed to do.The case does not support wireless charging and does not come with the screen protector like the one for my 6S did, but neither of those is as important to me as having good protection for the phone.This case works very well and does what it's supposed to do.

Very sturdy. Not bulky- size of a 7SE. Excellent design. The black matte colour is vibrant not faded. It has 3 layers of defence. Fits in my hand nicely and looks elegant. I’m delighted with this product. Probably sell my iPhone 7 Commuter one because the quality after 2 years is still top notch.

This case fit my iPhone 12 perfectly. It looks great and seems to offer the same protection my old Defender case for my iPhone SE had. It doe however , not like the screen protector I had installed. Perhaps the protector is a bit too thick but it now has bubbles. I'll be returning to the store I bought the protector to see if they can do anything to eliminate the bubbles. Overall I do like the case, even if I end up removing the screen protector.

I ordered this item for my new iPhone 12 mini.The item arrived on time, fit perfectly, provides protection as advertised.I bought the similar cover a few years ago for my (new back than) iPhone 6S, back than the set included the screen protection as well. Not this time. If you want a screen protection - you need to order it separately.Beside this, it's a great product, I would recommend it for purchasing.

Es el mejor case que he tenido para iPhone, siendo este mi tercer teléfono que he tenido y por esa razón es la tercera carcasa que compro por cuestiones de cambio de tamaño. Yo soy una persona que siempre tira el celular y esta carcasa me ha salvado de muchos pero muchos golpes, y algunos bastantes fuertes.

Arrived over a month late. Tried to cancel and get refund but didn’t work. Finally arrived and tried to return, now they want restocking fees and for me to pay shipping. The case arrived in some knockout packaging which is suspect, and the texture of the phone case itself is not durable at all. Even your fingernail will leave lines all over it. Selling this privately as I’m not willing to lose even more time and money sending this back. DO NOT BUY, strait up GAHBAGE! 🗑
