A lot of folks wear these now for virus protection and I can't comment about that. When I do woodworking, I kick up a lot of sawdust, this mask keeps the sawdust out of my lungs and it does it well. The other thing is it's a lot more comfortable that wearing a mask that goes around the ears. The neoprene conforms to your head and the velcro lets it fit you perfectly. Very comfortable if you need to wear it for several hours.

However, a couple of down points. First, like any other velcro, the attachment strength is going to wear out over time. Used it maybe 40 times this past year, and the last time I wore it, velcro grip just gave out and the mask popped off. Not something you want happening on a regular basis. Second, the nose piece can pinch down hard enough to restrict breathing thru your nostrils. Not painful, but can be irritating. That being said, neoprene masks tend to give out in about a year with regular use and hand washing.

I guess i was expecting to much for the price. It definitely is not one size fits all and the way the straps are aren't really comfortable (i have a smaller head and serious pressure point issues where it lays on the back of my head/neck). I also have a major issue with the inside of the mask on the center seem of the filter getting soaked within I'd say about half an hour of wearing it. Other then those two major main issues I've noticed a complete difference with the filter helping me with my hay/grass allergy when filling hay nets at the barn. I could deal with the fit being weird but it's really hard dealing with the puddle of I'm guessing condensation from breathing in the mask.

Second time purchased. I had purchased one before pandemic for cutting grass. Turned out too hot for my husband so when Covid came I used. The original from daily wear has almost worn out by by ear, and stretched a bit. Love this mask, everyone always asking where I got it. Love that I can change the inside filters.

Velcro seems a little weak to me or you need to nail the positioning of both straps perfectly or else it will disengage easily. Everything else seems fine.

The material for this mask is much too thick and doesn't have enough air vents for circulation, causing my face to feel like a sauna. I'd never wear this hot and/or on humid days I'll stick to my other mask but continue to use these filters with it.
