It was a Sunday afternoon, I was stir crazy and sure my husband did not want to go for a walk with me, it was cold out after all. He was nested in the couch, locked in for a journey down netflix lane. Suddenly my intense desire to move shifted and my attention turned to the bedroom. The feng shui never felt right, we lived here for over a year and it was our least favorite place in the apartment. Our battle over "who would sleep in the corn against the wall" never allowed us to utilize the space, so much dead space. Thus, we remained suspended, a power struggle, unified by placing the bed in the middle of the room. His view of the blank wall, my duties as "the curtain closer" was laborious and taxing, those damn street lights persisted throughout the seasons, Except in summer. When the maples sprouted their leaves, fully cloaking our windows, our tree house experience for 3 months was glorious. MY MIND WAS RACING. As I was leaning over the baseboard heater (because my feet get poor circulation), I could see a whole new life. A new reality that would make our space more 1.) functional and 2.) aesthetically pleasing. I had the vision but I couldn't do it all. I needed help. The hardest part awaited me. He was perfectly content, the pressure of the cushions coupled with gravity made the couch mimic the feeling of being inside a left open burrito, enveloped. His attention was absorbed by both his phone AND the streaming netflix in the background, forever scrolling. This trance provided comfort and escape. I wondered out loud if he was interested in doing "something", with an inflection of mystery lingering at the end. This seemed to do the trick, his eyes wandered over, intrigued at this climaxing potential for entertainment, I lured him in. Willingly of course. After negotiations, veral contracts and reaching agreement that "we'll try moving the bed to the corner, and if we dont like it we can move it back". Now that the tam was formed, roles were subconsciously in play. Grateful for his service, I did not feel motivated to assert my leadership and let him assume lead.IT WAS TIME.We discussed bending knees and how to move our backs, then we turned to face the beast. THE MONSTER. I tried to lift it and realized quickly that I couldn't lift my end, crushed, we problem solved. OMG WE COULD USE THOSE SLIDERS, IT CAME WITH 12 AND I HAVE EXACTLY 4 MORE! I said. Sidebar, when I bought the pack for my super heavy ottoman I thought I wouldn't use these babies. BUT BOY WAS I WRONG. put them on things I never even moved, JUST IN CASE. Life became blissful. We put those babies on the bed, and then, prepared ourselves for the most satisfying experience of our lives. IT TOOK SECONDS. WITH AMPLE MOMENTS TO REARRANGE WITHOUT EFFORT. Great product, need to buy more. Now our room looks fine as hell [flames]

I hate cleaning and I hate moving furniture. It's a pain in the ...So, when I bought new bedroom furniture I didn't want to be frustrated by either trying to move furniture or knowing there were dead bugs and dust where I couldn't clean. I bought these and put them under the legs.There's flippin ugly is what they were and completely indiscreet because the assumption is you're going to lift up all your furniture, put them in place - move your furniture, do what ya gotta do, move them back and take them out. Stupid. You know you're going to vacuum at least once in a while. So, why would you take them out just to "rinse, repeat".So these could be hella smaller and not in the poop brown color that makes them really stand out so attractively </cough> But for functionality, they darned well do work. I have a thick pile carpet and I move some fairly heavy (yet incredibly cheap furniture) across and clean behind with ease now. So, I don't think about decaying critters in my bedroom. I have enough trouble sleeping without that thought in my head. Besides, have you ever tried to sleep in room with a dead stink bug?These are your best friend for getting rid of dead stink bugs trapped behind furniture. It's just ... they're big and ugly in a Dorothy Zbornak kind of way, and loveable like Sophia Zbornak. But no sex appeal or St Olaf stories.

These sliders aren't just for moving furniture. I had some that I didn't use until I had difficulty moving the dining room chair on the rug where I sit. I have scoliosis and things were getting more difficult for me to move back and forth. When contemplating how I could move my chair better, my intuition showed me the casters. At first I just placed them under the feet of the chair but sometimes one or more would slide off. I had ordered double-sided velcro for a rattan and had some left over, which I placed on the chair feet and casters and they all worked like a charm. Now all I do is slide the chair back and forth. My cleaning person liked the idea so much, she is now doing the same.

I have sliders in all sizes, but these were purchased for big, heavy furniture moving. I had to move my home office from one room to down the hall to a smaller room. I am 75 and recovering from THR, I put these sliders under my desk legs, big comply chair, large credenza and a bookcase. I was able to move all furniture by myself by just pushing them down the hall and sliding into position. So easy and moving them back was simple!

These are the perfect size for my heavy desk and bookshelves. Not only saves the carpet but make the heavy furniture easier to move. The legs are not slipping on the foam side but slide easily across carpet on the plastic side. I'm a fan!
