Venum Challenger 2.0 Headgear

i needed a decent headgear for competition and prevent injuries so I bought this on a whim. I never liked any of my headgears untilI bought this one. Great protection, i could tell the impacts were more diminished when wearing the headgear. Headgear is mostly secure in place, doesnt slide as much. Material on the inside feels soft and comfortable. My ears fit well into the earholes. Very light weight. Overall my head fits really well. The colors are pretty cool, Best part about this headgear is VISIBILITY. It is awesome. My top vision isnt blocked like my other headgears. However, the cheek protection seems to stick out from my face, which can cover some of my lower vision, but not by much. Really great product at an affordable price. I love Venum!

Great head gear> use it for light sparring and getting a good workout. Took a bunch of shots from my trainer and aside from looking silly, the only thing that was hurt was my pride. I do have a larger head so the head gear is tight. But that works to my favor because it does not move around. Much better than the Warrior headgear my son purchased at the same time. His moves around alot after taking punches and he has to stop and adjust it.

I'm not a professional fighter, but I do train often and try to get in sparring as much as I can. Here are my thoughts on the Venum Challenger 2.0 Headgear: PROS: - Comparable in price to the competition. I looked at a lot of headgear before settling here. I did not need an extremely high quality head piece, as I do not spar on a regular basis. Based on the reviews and the brand reputation, I felt I was getting my money's worth here without sacrificing quality. - Cool design. You can see the pictures for yourself. - Comfortable fit. I have a big head - there, I said it. And this headgear fits me just fine. There are three pieces that velcro together in the back to get your fit just right. At best, you can leave two of them stuck together all the time to get this on and off, but you'll need to secure it every time you put this on. I have not had any issues with the headgear sliding over my face. My ears also fit well inside the "ear cups". - Good view. I've worn crappy headgear that obstructed some of my peripheral eyesight during sparring. The design of this one does not block very much of my view. No cons that I can think of at the moment. These were able to absorb some of the punishment, but at the end of the day, you're still going to feel punches. I like to think they help with the vibrations that go through my head. I would recommend these over the cheaper brands such as everlast.

I've been using this headgear for a couple of months now, and it's awesome. I must admit, I have nothing to compare it to, as this is my first headgear, but I CAN compare what it's like getting hit with it on and without it on. Peripheral vision is slightly obstructed, but what you lose in sight, you gain in protection. Hits to the head are definitely absorbed by this headgear. However, there's enough room to still get hit straight in the nose. It's easy to put on and take off, as long as you don't completely undo all of the velcro whenever you remove it from your head. Another great thing about this headgear is that it stays put. Very rarely do I need to re-adjust the headgear. This headgear is a solid performer, made with quality materials, and excellent craftsmanship. Looks like it'll hold up for years to come. I also love the design on it.

This will be my new favorite

I bought two of these headgears, one last week and one this week. I first one came packaged very simple. It's a good fit and doesn't move around too much. It absorbs punches well. Item is stamped made in Thailand and came with new product labels. The second one, looks smaller than the first one. Instead of saying made in Thailand, it is made in china and designed in China. The items look alike but has minor differences: 1. Designed in Thailand vs made in Thailand 2. Venum stamp is slightly different. 3. The 4 stars on the China item are red not grey like the made in Thailand product. They feel about the same with those minor differences, I'm not sure if Amazon is selling a knock off or Venum produces their products in China.

Schönes Design (zugegeben: ist Geschmackssache). Keine Geschmackssache sind allerdings die gute Passform und die gute Verarbeitung. Dank des Klettverschlusses ist der Kopfschutz schnell auf- und abzusetzen sowie die Passform gut anzupassen (die von uns eingesetzte Version ist aufgrund der Größe allerdings nur für Jugendliche und Erwachsene geeignet). Wer jedoch glaubt, der Kopfschutz schützt vor starken Schlägen, der irrt. Der Kopfschutz puffert den Schlag lediglich etwas ab und schützt vor einem unerwünschten Cut - in den meisten Fällen... Die verdickte Polsterung im Ohrenbereich und die Polsterung über dem Jochbein gibt zusätzlichen Schutz. Die Sicht beim Tragen ist in keiner Weise eingeschränkt. Bei harten Schlägen sind auch mit einem Kopfschutz ein K.O. und anschließendes Kopfbrummen möglich. Dennoch hält der Kopfschutz das, was man von ihm erwarten kann - auch im hochfrequentierten Vereinseinsatz.

One size fits all, easy to adjust, good fit. Looks good and seems to give good protection.
