The Wah-Wah has played a vital role in determining the sonic characteristics of many a great player. The words "Musical" and "Vocal" have been used to describe the Bud-Wah, and with good reason. The Bud-Wah utilizes a custom inductor that is voiced to accentuate the mid range honk of vintage style pedals, without the top end harshness. The Bud-Wah also has a hard wire bypass that allows the effect to be switched out of the circuit completely to avoid loading down and muddying up your guitar signal.

It broke quickly
I bought this item a few months ago. I had heard great things about the Budda Wah and was excited to check it out. It came with one of the rubber legs stripped and falling apart, but that was an easy fix and no big deal. The pedal had a great tone and wonderful range. However, two weeks after I bought the pedal it broke on me DURING A GIG! The spring and trigger button all came loose and sunk down into the pedal. I tried to fix it a few times during the following weeks and was only semi-successful - the wah would work but would cut in and out and was unusable. I have since returned to my Dunlop wahs, which don't sound as good but are very dependable. I only got two weeks and one-and-a-half gigs out of the Budda Pedal before it broke.

Don't waste your money
I was excited to get this wah and it worked great for about a week... Then it basically fell apart. It is very poorly made and is absolutely huge and takes up too much space on the pedal board. The wah sounded great when it worked.

Best wah I've ever used
Let me start by saying I have been playing guitar for 30 + years. I own 2 Gibson Standard LP's, two Fender Amercian Deluxe guitars, one is a Strat, the other is a Tele. I own Breedlove, Martin and Taylor acoustic electrics. My amps are top of the line and my pedal board contains 14 pedals, including my Wah. Seven (7) of my pedals are Boutique pedals and the rest are Electro Harmonix and Boss. I know a little about tone. I have owned and used several wahs over the last 30 years. The Budwah is the best I've ever plunked down my money for. It is built like a tank. It uses only the best boutique quality parts and is tuned to perfection. The bottom end is tight, never muddy and the highs are clean without being shrill or tinny sounding. It sounds great clean or with distortion. It is the quietest wah I've ever used, all wah's make noise but this is quiet and true bypass. It will work just fine with a Fuzz Face or any other pedal out there, many wah's will not. As for the reviews that imply this to be a poorly made or bad sounding pedal I would like to know what those writers were smoking?

it's large and for that it might lose 1/2 a star for pedal-board Real Estate but honestly this was sounds great if you like 60's
Yes , it's large and for that it might lose 1/2 a star for pedal-board Real Estate but honestly this wah sounds great if you like 60's and 70's wah sounds (i.e. Hendrix, Cream, 70's funk). It plays really well with clean, slightly over-driven or fuzz signal. Really really well actually. The sweep has enough range to adjust to various styles and it never gets too annoyingly trebly like some wah pedals do. Perhaps those who were unhappy with this wah had more aggressive music applications (metal, glam rock, etc.). Again, it is big (which I thought would bother me but now it doesn't) but it is very solid craftsmanship and feels great under the foot so to hear it "fell apart" on someone seems strange. A potentiometer gone bad I get but fall apart? That's weird. Again for sixties and seventies era wah sounds this the best one from $50-$200 range. There are boutique wahs > $200 but that's not for me or my budget..

Top of the line wah
I've had several Dunlop wahs going back the mid 90's. The first one I had lasted a while- probably 5+ years. Something changed on them in the 2000s and they starters to break after 1-2 years of use- went through 3 of them. Also felt the treble was too intense. I've had this wah for four years with no issues at all, it is very well made. It sounds amazing-nice sweep but not too trebly.
