Q: What's the polarity order on the pins in the larger connector at the top? On the top row w/ usb connector pointed left is it (+/-) or (-/+)?

With USB right or left ~1, 3, 5 + is away from USB, 2, 4, 6 + is toward USB. You may need to rotate the white guides 180 degrees. Ignore my previous comment. I will try to remove it.
