So far there is nothing I don’t like about the IBF solid wood bookshelf. The unit fit perfectly in the space it was intended to fill, was simple to put together(instructions call for two people but I was able to do it alone), and is very sturdy and attractive. There is plenty of room between the shelves for all but the largest of books(or in my case, a tall blender), and there are options for selecting 3-5 shelves. One reviewer listed the color of the shelves as ‘gold’, but while the bottom of each shelf is a honey maple color, the tops are darker maple in appearance. Since there is only one way to attach the shelves to the frame, the bottom of each shelf is not in view.The shelving unit comes with everything needed for assembly, including anchors for attaching it to a wall for more security; this would be a safe and functional addition to a child’s room.Finally, I was impressed with the price of this bookshelf. I researched quite a few, and others that were constructed from solid wood and not particle board were far more expensive or considerably smaller. I would definitely recommend this purchase, and will probably purchase another for my home office.

Looks sleek. Was very easy to put together. I put it together on my own in about 1.5 hours. It's very sturdy and holds oh-so-many books. Whenever my book collection exceeds my available shelf space again, I know exactly what bookcase to buy. Definitely worth the money as well considering it's real wood and would take a lot of weight to make it bow.

Bought this for my husbands office and he loves it. It looks great and was the only real wood shelves out there. The shelves are more of a reddish brown then grey. It looks very nice , solid and easy to install. Now it did have a strong pine smell when we first opened it and I was worried about it but it really faded a lot the next day. You can smell a faint pine smell now that I actually like. We are happy with our purchase!

We love the bookcase. Easy to assemble, sturdy, and the perfect size for our bedroom. My only complaint is that the anti-tip anchors are garbage. I would definitely upgrade those if you have kids, pets, or live in an earthquake prone area.

Just received it today (2 days after ordering) and took about 20 minutes to put together and secure to the wall.Comes with everything needed to put together. It recommends having 2 people to put it together, but no need whatsoever for more than 1 person.Very sturdy, looks great, and works perfectly for my needs. Each bottle weighs approx. 3 lbs and I have 69 total bottles on the shelves and it can easily hold much more (and it will, as I buy more. LOL).Some reviewers said the shelves are "gold" in color, but mine aren't. The color is definitely brown, but not dark.I don't think I could expect to find a better deal for what I was looking for and needed.

This bookshelf is quality and a lot nicer than I was expecting. Shipped fast and was easy to put together. Heavy duty and holds a lot of books. Great value for the money.

These bookshelves are beautiful, sturdy and a true value for the price. It took about a week for full outgassing, a concern I had originally reported and was very pleased when the company reached out assuring me they would contact their factory to try and improve this. I’ve have them up and assembled for three weeks now and the the smell has vanished. These shelves are stunning - solid wood, great company - answered all my questions, thanks for your great customer service

The product came with everything I needed to put it together, plus additional backup parts and tools. The bookshelf is solid and just adorable. Great product.
