THE KRINGLE BRINGS BACK MEMORIES OF MY GRANDMOTHER; I LOVE IT!
Oh, the Kringle, the delicious Kringle! This is a hit, or should I say, both of them! I had to purchase two after reading the reviews. I am SO glad I did; they are exquisite, and of course, I'm coming back for more. If I'd seen the cherry/cheese Kringle I would have added that to the order; next time, and that won't be long! What can I do but rave about the fresh almondy luscious pastry I had with my favorite coffee this morning? Nothing, so I'm raving about the Danish Kringle. My grandmother before she departed for Denmark many years ago made the most delicious pastries; I had the pleasure of growing up with authentic Danish pastries; Grandma didn't spare a thing; she went all the way to make sure we were all happy, and we were! To this day when I think of her I immediately think of her pastries. THANK YOU for the Kringle and the memories that are cherished forever in my mind. I'm coming back for more. You will not be disappointed if almond is something you love; the real thing, and of course light flaky crust with a smidge of icing, grandma style. I LOVE IT!

Almond filling is a little of Heaven!
These are a bite of Heaven! I have loved them since I was a little child. The almond flavor is incredible! They were usually only available at Christmas where I lived. So happy to be able to order them from Amazon!

Childhood Favorites Never Cease To Amaze
This delicious pastry treat is one of my all-time Mm...Mm...Good favorites ever since I was a kid, especially growing up around the area these are made. Made soft and sweet and in a large oval ring with different kinds of flavors added, this is well worth the cost. I especially love this almond flavor. It has long been a holiday favorite of mine. So if anyone reading this is ever in Wisconsin sometime, I'd recommend heading over to the O&H Danish Bakery in Racine and try these out.

Better to wait until fall for kringles
Love love this kringle. But it took 4 days to get delivered in sweltering Midwest and Southern heat via fedex. Because of that, the almond paste melted into the crust. The Taste is great but there is no wonderful flaky crust. So I will wait until the fall to buy another. Hardly anything can survive over 100° index.

Authentic ! This is for real ! Pure and fresh true to taste fresh as fresh can be basic real ingredients. Honest to goodness good. Arrives fast and fresh many flavors to die for extra special nom noms If you love Old world pasteries from across the pond and want to eat what the real time now Norse eat . It's so good I ate the whole thing! Just kidding but you will not want to share it Try it you'll LOVE it. Not for sissies

It's been 20 long years, or maybe more, since I first set eyes on these...
20 years ago my wife brought one of these home from the office, and I thought it was the most delectable, delicious thing I had ever eaten. It took me 15 years to learn that the name of this pastry was a Kringle, and another 5 years of trying to do one myself. The results of my effort to duplicate were mixed at best. So, this year I finally decided to laydown the big bucks and just buy one. I carefully read the reviews, and saw a documentary that O & H had done, and I decided this was the one for me. I got a little sticker shock when I saw the price, but there are no Trader Joes within 100 miles of here, so I decided to go for broke, and laid down the cash. My Kringle arrived 3 days earlier than expected. The packaging held, it was just like it was when it left the bakery. The pastry was still soft, the frosting was firm, the almond paste filling was intact and hadn't seeped into the pastry. It was just perfect. And, the taste, THE TASTE! It's a little like biting into sweet heaven, surely this is what the angels feast on. The Kringle is sweet, and the almond flavor fills the tongue & nose with pure delight. I promise, I won't wait 20 years before I buy another. They're a treat, but something that everyone should get every year or two. Thank you, O&H, Amazon & Fed-Ex you've made an old man happy!
