Sticks to cinder blocks/mortar joints
We needed a painter’s tape for our smoker/grill/pizza oven project, which we constructed out of cinder blocks. The tape adhered well, even through a light misting of the blocks before painting, then when it was time to remove the tape it was extremely easy to do.

Car Decorations
This tape is amazing! I purchased to help hang balloons arches on the wall securely for our Seniors Grad Party, however, we had a Senior Parade where the vehicles get decorated and we used this tape for all her streamers and banners - everything stayed put from 5mph up to 55mph on a windy day! While everyone else was losing their decorations, ours were still there! Have not yet used them for the intended purpose I purchased for, but I have no doubt it will do just fine! Definitely recommend!

Best “masking” tape ever
I have bought numerous rolls of the Scotch 2060 masking tape for “Rough surfaces”.First of all, I don’t use it as masking tape but I use it for many other things. This is NOTHING like the cheap masking tape, green or blue, that is commonly used when painting. The tape is tougher, and the adhesive is incredible. It is advertised for “rough surfaces” such as cinder block, concrete, rough wood, etc. I use it for all these things. But I use it for far more. Some examples:- labels for storage boxes and tubs. I usually write on all labels with a Sharpie pen,- labels for items that go into the freezer, plastic bags, etc.- extra holding for things mounted on the wood lathe in the shop.- labels for wet wood turning blanks to mark the dates and weigh when monitoring drying.- depth markers for drill bits and other tools.- temporary markers for farm equipment when disassembling things for repair - surface doesn't have to be perfectly clean.- label the lids of metal feed cans in the barn - I keep a bunch of lidded metal cans for poultry/game bird, horse, and llama feed and feed supplements and need to instantly identify what is what.- during construction to mark locations - can be easily moved as needed.- label the tops of medicine bottles.- mark various things for family member with reduced vision. Often cut little triangles so show where to press or lift when opening.- The tape is practically weatherproof - I often use it outdoors to temporarily fasten signs to gates and things.I buy these in a variety of widths. One tip - if unused rolls are stored for years, keep them in a plastic box or bag.I gave a sample to a professional painter and he was impressed with the stickiness of the adhesive. He planned to get some for when painting trim around brick and such. The down side: if you use this tape as a label and leave it on for a few years, it may be difficult to remove.

I was hoping it would stick to brick better.
This rough surface tape is definitely superior to painters tape. I was using it to protect the brick from the foam I was putting on the outside of the window. I'll be honest I didn't clean the brick and that may have diminished the strength of the tape. So I don't know if there is a better product out there but it did work just not as strong as I hoped.
