Blue Bottle Pour Over Coffee Ceramic Dripper, White, 1 CT

I love this easy to use coffee pour over filter- I have always used a. French Press but this is more time consuming to clean- the Blue filter is a good solution/compromise for still being able to make a very good cup of coffee!

I've been making pour overs since before they were "a thing." I used to call it "camp coffee" because that's where I first learned to make it that way in my early 20's.Why pour over? People say it's for the flavor or they like the ritual and I get that but it isn't my reason.I'm just lazy.I only have to clean the filter stand. There's no descaling the brewing equipment or lines. There's no washing coffee oils out of a glass carafe. There's no worrying about wet coffee grind messing up our plumbing. I just toss the filter with the grind into the compost bin and put the filter stand in the dishwasher and I'm done.Now what is so great about Blue Bottle?Two things1. no folding the paper filter. It fits perfectly.2. no pre moistening the paper filter3. no plasticIf I had a nickel for every time I was too tired to remember to moisten the paper filter and brewed coffee that tasted like a paper towel: I'd have around 60 nickels. And I always hated folding the filters on the traditional cone systems.With Blue Bottle's system I no longer have to pre-moisten or fold. It does cost a little more, but it is totally worth it.I'd been using the same filter stand from Blue Bottle since 2014 and one morning in October 2023 I had butter fingers and dropped it on my poured concrete floor and it broke. So I came back here to replace it and it's exactly like the one I had before.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Best pour over that you can make at home. We visited San Francisco a few years ago and my wife fell in love with this style of coffee. This is the first time we have been able to recreate that experience!

nothing to complain love the design. but it's little too expensive

I purchased the coffee dripper and within 2 weeks it cracked along the handle! Very disappointed! However, I liked the favor of the coffee using this dripper as compared to several other ones that I tried. I purchased another one. I also use the bamboo coffee filters and enjoy the Blue Bottle coffee. I would recommend their coffee dripper and other products as I enjoy the flavor.Bill in Seattle

I followed the grind/temp/amount/process instructions and used the recommended filters. It doesn't brew it strong enough for me and tastes weaker than my preference. I believe the design or center hole drains too fast. I even tried using two filters, then I even tried running the same coffee through twice. Now I'm trying to rig a way to reduce the hole size so it will brew longer. I use Koffee Kult Coffee Beans Dark Roasted, and these beans work great in other brew solutions. Easy to clean though. Might I suggest you develop a solution for a strong brew and less dainty design. Call it Blue Bottle BOLD, increase the cup contact diameter, make it taller to hold more grinds and have it brew/drip much slower for those of us that appreciate that bold strong flavor.
