Crammed full of nuts
The recyclable paper wrapper is a real bonus. The bars are crammed with nuts, seeds and fruit which is good. They're a squishy chew.I really wanted to like them, they have a sticky texture (the honey and glucose syrup I guess) and I found them very sweet with a bit of an after taste that I just can't place. I'll probably eat them when there's nothing more interesting in the cupboard, my husband didn't like them at all.Ingredients: Almonds, Peanuts, Dark Chocolate, Chicory Root Fibre, Crisped Soya Pieces, Honey, Glucose Syrup, Cocoa Mass, Sea Salt, Lecithin.(I received these for free in exchange for an honest review, which I have given)

Really nice, great flavour and texture, mostly healthy but sugar content is a quite high
I bought these along with another flavour for my family, and they've both gone down very well. The flavour is really nice, nutty first with the chocolate in the background, it feels like a treat without being too sweet or too indulgent. The blueberry flavour doesn't come through very strongly for me, I can taste it, but the nuttiness dominates the taste. I saw someone else in the reviews mention the texture was sticky, which is odd because I didn't think it was at all, to me it came through as crunchy without being too dry or brittle, a good middle ground! So in terms of how they taste, a definite win. They also score big points for me on sustainability and environmental impact, each bar comes in a recyclable wax paper wrap rather than a plastic one, not something I've seen before and definitely a nice touch! Also didn't spot until after I bought it that it's made with sustainable cocoa. The price is a little bit high in my opinion - I wouldn't at all say it's overpriced or a rip-off, as you're getting a great product for your money (sustainability costs more too), so if it's worth it for you, it's worth it, but it's not something I'll make a habit of buying probably.I'm mostly skeptical about snack bars that describe themselves as 'healthy', so I gave the ingredients and nutritional info a good scan-over - the calorie and sugar content were the only things I felt were a bit of a let-down, the rest I was quite impressed with.Per bar you get:223 calories - definitely on the high side, one bar a day wouldn't make too much of an impact, but any more than that and it'll stack up quickly8.7g sugar - Not very good, we all love sugar but that's a pretty big dent in your RDA.13g fat - quite high at just under 20% RDA, but gets a pass as saturated fat is only 3.1g, the rest is healthy fat from the nuts10.3g protein - definitely a good amount, although there's probably healthier ways to boost your protein intake!0.02g salt - very low, impressed!I'd recommend these to anyone who's a fan of cereal/snack bars and trying to eat healthier, as they're delicious and one of the more wholesome brands I've seen, my only real issue is the price - I feel like you'd be better off saving your money and putting it towards natural foods instead, but if you're big on these things, it might be worth it for you!

Quality snack on the move
I’m a hiker & I need to take protein-based snacks with me on day-long walks. I purchased YES! Cashew, Blueberry & Dark Choc nut bars for several reasons: they are plant based, natural, have 10g of protein per bar & importantly for me are nut-based for a slow release of energy. My first impression was what a quality product this is. When opening the recyclable paper wrapping, I was greeted with a full & luxurious smell. The bar is packed with superior ingredients, very tasty & left me feeling satisfied. The flavours are superb & I will get the protein I need for my long walks. The bars are more expensive than some on the market but you get what you pay for; I'll buy again.

At home or on the go ...it’s a YES!!!
I found that the first thing you notice when you rip open one of these Yes cashew, blueberry and dark chocolate bars is the balanced smell of the blueberry and the dark chocolate neither is too overpowering , which is nice because sometimes dark chocolate can be a very controlling flavour. When it comes to the actual taste it’s more of the same a nice balance of the dark chocolate and sweetness of the blueberry which I think works really well. These bars come in a box of twelve and are each individually wrapped which means they are easily transportable and can be nibbled on either at home or on the go. For me I tend to keep one in my bag to keep me going when I’m out and about and with the recyclable wrappers it’s a win from all angles.

A tasty treat not a healthy snack
I have been given the opportunity to try these and the Almond, dark chocolate and sea salt flavour - I have found them to be very good in taste and texture. I enjoyed the almond flavour slightly more but whichever they are great for filling a gap and when you need a boost. Be mindful that they are not a healthy snack they are a treat as any chocolate bar with high sugar but probably more nutritious. I am very impressed with the paper packaging. Somewhat disappointed to discover like many brands with different names they come from Nestle.

Healthier natural plant based alternative to traditional protein bars
These bars were a little pricey but they are packed with wholesome ingredients and 10g of plant protein so you can kind of justify the price. It is a great alternative compared to traditional protein bars which are highly processed and offer no extra nutrition such as fibre. As for the taste, they tasted very nice and I particularly like the blend of flavours and it wasn't too sweet which I was worried about when it mentioned double dark chocolate. The only small downside of these bars was the fact that they were quite sticky but that's not such a big issue at all. I really like that each bar says "paper please recycle me" and it comes in a cardboard box, meaning there is no plastic wasted which is great to see! This would be a great snack or would even make a nice treat for a dessert.
