El Maragato Premium Alubias Tolosana Beans (2.2 lb/1 kilo)

I have purchased a couple of times these beans and always noted how difficult is to cook them. I never give it importance, until now. The thing is that no matter for how long you boil them some beans will still hard and other will be splitting. It is like there two kind of beans in the package. Even they seems to been two different colors. The split bean are more brawny and the hard beans are darker, almost black. Overall I think whoever is putting the beans in the bag is cheating. At the end these are not true tolosa beans, and they taste no better than any canned beans.
