I went back and fourth before I bought this. Between this an an authentic cactus one. I ended up picking this one because it looks way more durable.It sounds good but it't not as nice as the cactus type. It is hard to get a good steady slow pace because whatever is inside gets caught up and you have to really make it vertical for the sound.That said, it IS durable. my 20month old smashes it on everything and not a dent and I have no worries about him busting it open.

My 10 month old nephew was able to hold it. He couldn’t yet make noise with his hand . Give him another month or so. In the meantime he rolls it on the carpet. The color strips are vibrant. He really loves the rain stick ! I would recommend this

My nephew loves it! his parents may be a little worried when he's using it as a bat, but it sounds lovely and very well made. has survive multiple throws across a hardwood floor. he's only 2

Quality is good but does not really sound like rain.

This product is more for child’s play as opposed to serious use as a percussive instrument-Looks good but weak in terms of instrumentation-

Small and doesn't really sound like rain to me. Entertaining for about 60 seconds sorry.

I like that size for sure, but it does not really sound like rain stick... I keep playing with it, trying to find a good rhythm to work with for meditation classes... But for the price, honestly, I could give it to a local daycare if I do not keep it
