great baselayer for mittens.
The glove gives warmth AND a way to use fingertips for fine motor skills for handling objects such as coins, keys, writing utensils, knives, tools, and touch pads on electronic devices, etc. I wear them as a base layer under bulky woolen mittens to allow a quick way to use fingertips outside mittens and then return to mitten warmth. Yes, these gloves are a good buy that I can recommend. Be aware that if you drop them they do blend in with brown foliage in Winter landscape. The glove build seems strong and fit is comfortable.

Minus33 (M33) Unisex Knit Gloves
Written on 6Mar18: Quality of these gloves is very HIGH! I ordered the Medium size as most of my other gloves are that size. These mediums however are just on the side of unbearable they are so tight fitting. I will reorder them again but instead of moving up to size Large I will be ordering the X-Large.Material: The title says Merino Wool, nothing could be further from the truth! These gloves are almost as soft as Merino but in my opinion they are at least 90% or better consisting of polyethylene spun fabric and 10% polyester. But that shouldn't dissuade you from giving these a good look at. It's the type of fabric that drys quickly if gotten wet. Yes the finger tip ends do have 'pennant threads' but the reinforced seam stitching will prevent them from unraveling anytime soon on you. There were no holes or defects in the knitting either. These gloves are Made in China.Final thoughts: These are Thin, Lightweight, and Warm gloves. I find these to be less slippery on the steering wheel than real Merino gloves. My only real complaint is having to order them again in a larger size.EDITED 13Mar18: I received a second pair of these gloves that I reordered in X-Large up from a Medium size (2 sizes up) and while these gloves are much more comfortable in the palm and fingers these are still constricted tight around the wrist gussets. These may be acceptable for small or medium men's hands but those guy's out there with huge hands might want to consider another brand altogether. Just a heads up here. Nice gloves or glove liners just the same.

YES! Love these gloves. Great for the squirrely weather we have in Wisconsin.
Our weather here in Wisco can change in a flash. From sun to clouds to rain to sleet to hail to snow and back again, all in one afternoon. It has happened and I can confirm it. These gloves are great because they are warm, cover some of the wrist and give you a fair amount of dexterity by not having the finger tips. I have short fingers and bought the large size (on purpose) so just the tips of my fingers are exposed. The wool keeps my digits warm in most weather. Once it dips down past freezing, I switch to full-fingered gloves. These are not itchy at all, and are thick enough to be warm. They aren't so thick that they cause issues with dexterity though. It's kind of a sweet spot and these work well. I like them. They were an awesome Christmas gift from my family.

Knit in a way that catches on things, pills up
I liked these for the first couple days. Then, they caught on some random thing and pulled out a thread a ways. Then they caught on something else. I washed them on gentle cold, and let them air-dry, and they still have pilled up and are looking ratty a few weeks on. The finger holes are also cut a little too far down the finger than they need to be. I guess knit wool is not for me.Edit after about a year of ownership:If you can avoid having them catch on any rough/sharp/hook shaped things, they actually hold up OK. Wool stays warm and dry, so I stuck to it despite its issues. They don't look great after a year, and I don't wash them all that often, and I often pull the pilling bits off of them, but they are still totally usable to keep my hands fairly warm. I've raised my review by one star to 4/5, and may raise it further in the future. I also raised it because I tried another brand of fingerless wool glove off of Amazon, which was actually significantly more expensive, and it was much worse in both design and QA so I returned it.I actually purchased a second set of these minus33 ones recently, so I can have some while washing the other set, and because they actually look pretty nice when brand-new. The new ones seem to have longer fingers than the old ones, but maybe that's just because the old ones contracted/changed shape with use over the year.I need gloves because I have lupus, and raynaud's, so they are really helpful for keeping my hands from freezing and turning colors in slightly cool temperatures. These work okay for, say, 45F+ temps. If it gets much lower, I need thicker, full-finger gloves.

Super warm and durable (so far)
I use these when working on my computer (I wear only on my right hand) since whatever surface I use my mouse on inevitably seems cold. These gloves are exactly what I was looking for. They are warm and provide a little cushion against a hard surface. If I used them in a heated building or during the summer they would be too warm but when the temp hovers around 65 they are perfect. The weave is tight an there was only one loose end that I was able to secure without any problem so I expect they will last for a while.First rate produce, definitely worth the money.

My daily gloves for a wintery commute.
Nice and toasty. Great against the New England weather, and has found their way into my daily routine during the winter. 5 out of 5!
