I just installed these 3-4 days ago. The first photo I had it set on light blue and it works just fine, I loved it. I tried to adjust to red, and as you can see suddenly only half the strip even turns on. Then I tried to set it to light pink, And the color turns to dark blue. Literally no point of a color changing light here. Barely works and the sticky adhesive isn’t even holding up well. Disappointed in this product. Also the remote won’t work, only the app. Update: seller messaged me IMMEDIATELY after this review and have another one on the way and apologized about the defective product. The quickest customer service I’ve ever had! 10/10

I love this product. Bight, easy to use, simple set up. IT gives me all available colour options and pairs with Alexa/google flawlessly. It ranges from sterol blue/white to a hot yellow/tan and obviously with RGB capabilities, adds colours too. It's a pretty high quality material, but it is still a very low-profile/thin light strip, so you must not bend it too harshly or damage it too much or you could lose connection to some of the nodes. Overall I own 2 of these kits and they work amazingly well. I was able to give my room "aura" with it and really contrast the staple lighting of just yellow overhead bulbs. I can control them together in units or individually which is always a plus, and since they are super easy to set up and use, I'd recommend them for just about anywhere in the house that needs more, better, or cool lighting. The one thing to be aware of is that they adhesive on the back is both not the strongest, but also can take paint off the walls if it isn't a gloss finish. Just a heads up for apt owners/ renters. If you run into trouble with it staying up, I've found that using a line of masking tape underneath the light strip aids with moth these issues since it does not damage paint, but gives a more adhesive surface area.

The Led strip it's self is great. It connected easily with my Amazon Alexa and is very responsive to comands over all. I only have 2 real issues and one may be a deal breaker to some. The deal breaker is music mode which is so jerky and sudden from one color to another it hurts. There is 0 smoothing between colors it is just blue the suddenly full blown neon red then a second later green. It seems to detect the sound fine but the fact there is not even an option to enable smooth transition for the sound mode is terrible. The second is just the adhesive on popcorn ceiling and normal white walls. The adhesive it has on base holds for a bit but not long but that was a simple fix with clear tape and invisible thumbtacks. Now they are permanently up there until I decide to move them where I can just replace the tape. Summary, great device for base light but not great if you want a party or to sync with games or TV to sound unless they add a smooth function as the default, or at all even. Edit: Had these for I think over 4 years now, they're still fantastic and I still have no real issues. The only problem I do have is that there's about five LEDs total that are slightly off hue of whatever I said it to. It's not that it's not noticeable but it's so minor an issue that I couldn't care less. I've added new pictures just so you can see the difference if you're worried about long-term issues the possible aesthetic issue it might give over time. Otherwise it's still amazing and for me works perfectly, 9 out of 10 I will totally buy this set again if it goes out entirely.

These lights have a major issue with quality control. They do not stick well at ALL! I’m convinced they wouldn’t even stick to gorilla glue. I’ve purchased 4+ packs and every single one falls right off after 1 hour and ensuring I do everything on my possibility to clean the wall and press for extended periods of times to ensure a good stick. They just won’t. I even tried roughing up the wall a little. Absolutely nothing works. Some parts of the lights are completely missing adhesive or the tape is cut off etc. I had to buy glue to get them to stay on and it’s just a shame because I’ve purchased similar lights in the past and those things stuck so well that it would literally peel the wall when it came off. Super super poor quality control. As for functionality they work great via the app and respond quick. No issues there. *EDIT* These things are so bad at adhering that I had to come back and add to my review. I feel so ripped off and scammed by this company. In the past I’ve purchased plenty from them and they were great! Now their quality has gone down hill so bad that it’s almost as if it’s not the same company at all. When I say the adhveisive is bad on these things, I mean it is BAD. They won’t even stick to Gorilla Glue!!!! I’m convinced that they won’t even stick to a glue rat trap, it’s almost as if they are HYPOADHESIVE. Terrible quality, get another brand.

Easy to apply. Lights are nice and bright. Remote is easy enough to use. Unfortunately after firmly applying against the crown molding in my daughter’s room it started to peel off after a day.

Exactly as advertised! Lights work perfectly with the SMART LIFE app. Setup took a couple of seconds as the app detected the lights as soon as i plugged them in. To get the lights in pairing mode just plug them in and unplug them 3 times quickly. I will update this review if needed.

I put them under my bed frame and around my desk and they’re amazing. The app works nicely and I was even able to connect them to my google home. Very convenient (and pretty cool).

Needs second adaptor, for those who don't want the 2 strips in one area. Couldn't get the app to work, so if remote stops working, no way to turn on

The strips went up well and appear to have stuck. The remote worked just fine. Unfortunately, I seem to have the same issue as some others on here. There are a few sections that do not seem to work properly. This was the case right out of the box. .. I am hoping the seller will help me out.
