Super easy setup, finally have great internet everywhere!
I wish I’d known about switch boxes sooner. Finally I have great internet quality throughout the entire home. I bought a 100’ Ethernet cord with these and ran one box the back of our home and still getting 300mbps download speeds as I do in the front of the home now, even with 8 connections in each box my iMac in my back bedroom is matching the same download speeds as the one in the living room near the first box and router. I know that the speeds are dropped being split amongst devices but we’re not noticing any lag or issues which we were experiencing when only running devices on WiFi. We’re glad to be able to watch Netflix in our bedroom finally without the movie freezing up or lips not matching up with the character. Boxes were super easy to setup and well made. Work great!Setup is basically run an Ethernet from modem to router, then Ethernet curd from WiFi router to switch box. Then plug in your other devices. If you need two boxes as I did just run another Ethernet cord from box one to box two. I’d not recommend three boxes but two has been ok. To know if it’s workomg a geeen light means all is good and orange is no signal. Each port has a light.

Great, simple switch for home or home office.
I purchased this switch so that I could wire my office for Ethernet rather than using wifi at home. It was easy to set up and get working right out of the box. It consistently delivers the internet speeds I expect in conjunction with my packet I pay for with Comcast. I currently have the 150Mbps program and usually am pulling speedtest results of about 170-180Mbps when I have my computers wired. I have no issues running my Xbox One and 3 Gaming PCs all at once. Would highly recommend for anyone needing a simple and reliable switch for home or home office use.

Great price for a Gigabit switch - and Cisco to boot!
I needed a cheap 5-port Gigabit switch to put into my LAN. When I went looking on Amazon, I was shocked to find I could buy a Cisco 8 port switch within my "cheap" budget. This switch, of course, works flawlessly, and it certainly didn't break the bank. I could not be happier!

Works well enough, kinda short on warranty
These switches work well enough, though we had one out of the batch that had some ports that went bad. It was already out of warranty so we're out of luck on that one. Still, can't beat the price and they come in handy in a pinch.

Great Cicso Switch!!
got rid of my Trandnet 5-port gigabit for this guy. Works very very well.I have two in my Home network. One near my desk and another near my home entertainment system.I used to have alot of dropouts play Itunes over network but not anymore. Also the lights flicker just like commercial ones do to!!i can bet that this switch works on level 2 networking looking at only the MAC addresses and not the IP address. (faster)

Good hardware
You can go out and buy some no-name brand or you can sink a few extra bucks into some better quality. These switches I ordered are quite nice and you can feel a quality change over the standard TP-Link or Netgear.Nice metal casing, standard mounting holes for wall mount, rubber sticky feet and so forth. For the price difference to other models, I would buy these again. Quality in PC hardware/networking is worth it.

I love these things
May be a little expensive, but I get to watch my 3 gig file just zip and its finished transferring. My other switch, besides being unreliable could on a good day do a transfer of maybe 100 mb/s, struggling anywhere from 20 mb/s to 100 mb/s. This thing gives me a nice 114 mb/s nice straight line. Don't know how much easier you could make it to install. As long as you are not trying to use it as a router, just wire it up and go.

All green across the board
Making the most out of Xfinity Gig speed internet on this switch. Speed test on 100ft cat6 is doing well over 950 Mbps, close to 960 Mbps. Numbers are basically the same as when connected directly at the modem’s router. The switch also runs cool too so no issue there. I did install taller rubber feet to raise the switch a bit away from the desk. The Xfinity supplied XB6 modem/router is where the issue of speed throttling because of heat but that has been fixed with 2 80mm fans, bottom fan forcing cooler air into the intake and top fan exhausting heat out.Highly recommend it.
