Very nice cooling deck
This is the second cooling pad I got from this manufacturer and I have to say this one is greatly improved. It's very quiet (very small hum but less than the laptop fan) and its very lightweight. The riser stand fits snugly under it when it's folded in (another improvement). The air moves well and seems to cool efficiently. Overall I would recommend giving this one a try, and for the price it's a great value.

Works wonders for thermal throttling - i9 Macbook Pro
This thing is wonderful. Super quiet, doesn't look atrocious, and cools noticeably well. My intel i9 MacBook Pro thermal throttles an obscene amount, making the laptop suffer in performance. Using this thermal pad on full blast (still super quiet) allowed my Cinebench score to increase by around 10%, which is pretty awesome. It also allows me to have the laptop on my lap without the metal housing borderline burning me. It will require a usb adapter to use with a macbook but is a worthwhile investment for anyone still using a intel macbook pro.

Great product for the money
I purchased this cooling mat for use on my laptop while in use. It works well to cool the computer but may make your lap warm if you are holding it on your lap. It works well and gives you an additional USB port.

Works
So far so good, using for an older MacBook Pro.

Nice while worked but stop working less 6 months
Worked well then in less than six months stop working. Attempted to see about warranty coverage as not even a year old and Amazon shows pass return and support time period. Can't believe the seller doesn't at least try to provide any assistance with product they sell and have some way to maybe provide some warranty, repair or parts service to their buyers. Still works as way to prop the laptop up for some static cooling without usage of the fan. It's a unique size fan and mounting for the fan so not an easy way to use any other style fan. Basically now just a door stop. Maybe the seller will see this an provide some assistance.

Great purchase - good quality, quiet, fan
We have lots of thin, high-powered, laptop computers that overheat regularly, as they are too thin. These stands provide multiple, quiet, fans that keep the units cool.

Not real aluminum, fan vibrates funny making a noise, other such disappointments.
For $21 I didn't expect much, namely I didn't expect the promised "aluminum" to be any good/real, but I'm still pretty disappointed.First, yeah, the whole thing is plastic. The only metal is the USB plug housings and copper wiring and the bits of the fan that are metal. It looks fine but the point of an aluminum laptop pad is that it is good at absorbing and dispersing energy (aka: heat), so the lie is pretty significant. I didn't expect something so cheap to be any good aluminum, at best crappy quality metal stamped en masse, but it's just plastic.Second, the fan makes a buzzing hum no matter the fan speed. It sounds out of alignment. The only reason I'm not giving it a 1 star is unlike a lot of other fan cooling pads I've seen/had, it only spins the fan when the PC is on. I'm using a USB-C hub and have the pad plugged into it, and the hub needs to be plugged into a PC that is powered on for the fan to spin. Not a huge deal, but I appreciate things that work this way.Pictured: It fits my Frame.work laptop well, but this isn't a particularly large laptop by any means so I imagine most larger devices, like 15.6" gaming laptops or bigger, will hang over the edges quite a bit.

Bad fan - Unbalanced and loud by default
Stand part is fine, but the fan is garbage. I'm not one of these noise-crazy people but the fan had a grinding sound from day one (the way a 10 year old fan sounds). Checked it out and it's very unbalanced (huge wobble). Garbage fan ruins an otherwise decent product
