I am transporting a bunch of car cleaning chemicals and wanted to cap off the bottles after removing the sprayers (they fit in my boxes better this way, plus reduce the chance of any chemical spilling out).These are the correct thread size for typical 16/32 oz spray bottles and are water tight.A large quantity at a good price.

Finally I have found caps I love. I used to buy the white metal ones which I loved, but they rusted. I used to love the 2-piece bachelite ones but they were a pain to clean as you had to remove the inner plastic lining before washing, and they would break easily ... but looked the best. With these new plastic ones, though not as elegant as the smooth bachelite ones,my bottles don't leak when placed horizontal, they don't break if I drop them, they are black, and easy to wash! In truth I have not used these for too long so we'll see how they hold over time, and how the white inner part resists to wear and tear ... but one thing is sure: I'm no longer going back to the previous two.

I have been on a long search for 38mm caps to hold in carbonation from second fermentation of home brew kombucha and these are not good for that. If you like your kombucha to be fizzy like GT's version (most other brands of kombucha are not nearly as fizzy), you need better seals. It's why GT brand has more threads on there cap (looks to be 2 full threads compared to 1 of other brands), which weirdly I cannot find anywhere, even B2B distributors.I have bought the plastic Poly Seal type caps, but these don't consistently keep carbonation in either, although much better than these. Best best is just to reuse the GT caps that come with them, but not sure how long each will last as I just started using them over the Poly Seal caps. Flip top bottles great to seal in but terrible to add secondary flavors and cleaning after use; also are terrible if too much carbonation builds up as the spout is so small it wants to explode like a volcano if over pressurized.

I was very happy with the bottle I bought. I have accidently dropped two bottles, and the bottle survived, but the caps broke. I love having these extra on hand. Good deal.
