Washed Military Hat-Black W32S37C

I have an oval-shaped head so regular baseball caps look a bit awkward on me, and I wasn't sure how this one would turn out. To my surprise, the shape complements me fairly well; I am particularly fond of the "volume" this hat provides. I've received a lot of compliments from friends and family about this hat and it feels great to look presentable while hiding under the brim (for you shy types) at the same time.There are not many bad things about this hat I can think of. You do have to be aware that you CANNOT put it in a drying machine. There's a tag about it on the hat but I didn't read it and my hat shrunk. Thankfully, the size is very adjustable so I still can wear it comfortably. Other things? Well, I guess it collects a small amount of lint and it's somewhat of a pain to iron if you want to keep its shape.Overall, I love this hat and I want to keep it forever. I might order another because my best friend wants one after seeing me with it on.

I am like the other reviewer. It is a very cute, black hat. However, mine does not have the little holes on the sides like the photo shows. However, for the price I will not complain. It is still very cute hat and the opening in the back is perfect if you have a pony tail. If it had the little holes on the sides, like the photos show, I would have given it the full 5 stars, but since mine did not I will give it 4. But in all seriousness it is still an adorable hat that I love. I will be honest, I originally was going to send it back because I thought it was too big on my head, but after my mother saw it she said it looked perfectly fine on my head, so I kept it. The seller was very nice about all of this and very appreciative of my business with them.

I've never worn baseball caps my entire adult life because I don't look good in caps. I live in Hawaii so this is a problem. Problem solved. I purchased the military hat from Gravity Trading and I must admit, I look pretty good in it. The flat top of the hat which automatically allows for the symmetrical rounding of the sides and back does the trick. I don't know how to explain it but bottom line, it makes you look good. Also, the added bonus is that it doesn't seem to cause as bad a hat hair like a baseball cap does.For those of you that look good in baseball caps, it probably won't make much of a difference. For those that don't look good in caps, try it--you'll like it.I received my order within days, during the Christmas season and all the way here in Hawaii. My hats off to Gravity Trading for selling such a great quality product and providing excellent customer service. I'm going to order more hats (different colors) today.

I have a very similar hat in a khaki color which I love and wear all the time. I wanted one in black that would look a little better with my winter clothes and this hat is perfect for me. I love the Velcro closure at the back, I can put up my ponytail and then fasten the Velcro to hold everything in place. The color is black black, no distressing or fading. I have washed the hat twice now (I zip it in a lingerie bag and wash with my regular clothes, then air dry) and it looks good as new. The first time I wore it I put on hand lotion and then immediately put the hat on, leaving white fingerprints on the bill, so be careful of that. The fingerprints washed right off. The hat is just slightly oversized for a lady, but it's oversized-cute not oversized-silly-looking. The brim will actually protect your face out in the sun.

I purchased "this hat" almost exactly 1 year ago. That was a 5 star purchase... I loved it but after many washes and my toddler getting his hands (and teeth) on the velcro it stopped holding well so I decided to buy another.I noticed the price had gone up by a few dollars but figured it was a great hat so I'd go ahead and get a new one anyway. I used the "Buy it again" button, verified that it was the same hat as before and clicked purchase.Quite disappointed with the had that showed up. It is smaller in both brim and fit, the ventilation holes are no longer metal but wrapped in thread. I expected to get the same hat when clicking "buy it again"I would not have paid the higher price if I had known I was getting a worse hat. I'll keep it as a backup or something but will probably be stitching new velcro onto my other one since it actually fits and feels better.

I've been looking for a simple black hat with a hole in the back for my ponytail. For a woman, I have an average size head and it fits good. It covers a little bit of your top ear but it's better than having to constantly pull it down and adjust it. The bill of the hat was larger than I expected but overall a good hat for everyday wear.

This hat is fantastic. It fits very well and has a large adjustable Velcro strip in the back. There are two metal grommets on either side that make the hat breathable. The bill is sturdy. I bought this hat specifically to attach  MAXCRAFT 60193 5-LED Ball Cap Visor Light  to it for night time walking and hiking, and the bill supports the weight of the light with ease. If someone is looking for just a plain black military-style hat and aren't sure what to pick, get this one. 5-stars!

Love this hat, I wear it every day. I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend! I would cry if i lost this hat. After shipping it was like $25 which some would say is a lil steep for a hat but it was worth it!

You pay a little more for this hat, but I think it was worth it. looks good, fits well and stays on the head better than some of my baseball caps that fly off easily on a windy day.
