Symbol of Hope & Inspiration
I decided to buy the product based upon an article on the front page of my local newspaper.The giraffe used to be a mascot figure for the now defunct Toys-R-Us chain and was purchasedby someone who paid to have it moved to the Robert Wood Johnson Children's Hospital sectionIn New Brunswick, NJ. I found the story quite inspiring and thought it would be a great encouragementto the children at the hospital to give them the feeling that they can get up and feel good again aboutthemselves and rise above whatever medical issues and beyond they have in their life. TheGiraffe sits on top of a table near my TV set along with that article hanging on the wall nearby.It is a symbol of the hope that we can remain standing and rise above what challenges we face.

Couldn't recommend them more!!!
These Schleich animals are exquisite and adorable! The quality is excellent and I know my son will get countless years of play out of them. We bought these, along with a variety of other African, farm, and woodland Schleich animals, for my son's 2nd Birthday party - which was party animal themed! I knew they'd be a good investment because their use would last long after the party! (I don't have a picture of the giraffe, but I've included one of some of the other animals.) I made the mini party hats for the animals to wear and I think it made a big impact, decor-wise for the party. I couldn't recommend Schleich more!! Despite how young my son is, he's already enjoying imaginative play with them, and I know he'll continue to for a long time!

If you have a giraffe lover, just order it already!
I ordered the zebra and giraffe figurines, as my 2 year old daughter loves anything resembling a horse. These are also some of her favorite exhibits at the zoo. She LOVES these. She carries them everywhere and even took them to bed with her last night. Well worth the money!!
