A good choice for an intermediate player.
As a long time garage player, but a recent competitive player, I was ready for an upgrade from my first competitive racket. This one does not disappoint. It arrived promptly, in the same factory packaging I have seen in clubs. I don't the expertise to rate this as compared with others, but I wanted a bit more power and a bit more stickiness, and this gave me both. I would recommend it as a good choice for a new or intermediate competitive player.

Not bad
Got a good deal on this paddle and it’s good. Nice spin and control but not as bouncy/fast as I expected

Takes time to adapt - then HUGE improvements
We were ordinary beginners, 1 hour a day players with standard paddles for 2 years. We were getting really consistent and wanted to step up a level. These looked like the best value for quality - and that’s exactly what they are. …BUT…At first they seemed wayyyyy too slowwwww and wayyy too spinny. “Too much sponge!” we thought.No. No. No!They are *great* intermediate paddles but you need to figure them out - and all that requires is practice. How much practice? It’s been about 5 weeks today and…*EVERY* aspect of our game has gone up. We are much more controlled in deep play, much more dangerous cutting and driving in the short game, tenacious blockers in the defensive game… and of course more annoying servers. All of it is better. Better than that: all of it is a ton more fun. We just crack up at the crazy things we can do now.We did try a different brand first, but they reeked of plastic, so we sent them back. These paddles are virtually odor free. That said, the soft rubber is almost certainly loaded with softening agents which, as a biochemist, I do not want on my skin (nor yours). Solution? Easy: get yourself a golf glove for your paddle hand. Perfect - plus you do get a nice grip this way - just like you would in golf. Score that.Highly recommend.Oh, and to any haters who snub these paddles as “not pro quality?” Don’t be simple. OF COURSE these are not “pro quality!” Haha! They also don’t cost $200! What these paddles are: great for taking a step up from standard paddles without breaking the bank or buying more than you can use. When these eventually wear out? Good news: we will peel them, get a set of Butterfly rubbers, and give these blades plenty more life. Ka-ching!

This paddle is great
My playing improved significantly thanks to this paddle. It is light and forgiving, good for spinning, very forgiving for simple return. It has great handling, good spin and speed.

Forgiving and precise
First of all, after my experience as a mid.level player, you cannot confide in the ratings regarding SPEED, SPIN AND CONTROL, between different brands of rackets. This Carbon Pro has an incredibly precise hit. You place the ball exactly where you want and it is definitely forgiving on your mistakes. Under hard play, it gives you one extra hit over similarly priced rackets. It places the ball in the table like magic. Coming from a Stiga Cannon, an excellent mid level racket, this one plays in another league. Its is truly light, thus very easy to handle and to change between fore stroke and backstroke. The rubber isn't very thick but feels sticky enough and the blade feels amazing. Truly recommended.

a beginners paddle, not a lot of speed in it.
Although it has carbon technology, this paddle does not have a lot of speed in it.It offers nice control and medium speed which is suitable for beginners. If you are looking for a paddle that you can grow with, maybe this one is not the right one for you.The specs state a weight of 150g, when actually it is 170g, so you might want to consider that when buying.Over all, it is a solid paddle for beginners, that will only take you so far.

Solid racket providing great control especially for top spin shots
Recently got a new high quality table and of course wanted to pair that with a great racket. I completely have enjoyed this racket. The increase in control that I have over my shots, especially looping top spin is fantastic. I feel like more shots are connecting with the table instead of just missing or going too far. Excellent blend of power and control. Great racket for any competitor that wants to feel like they're competing at a very high level.
