Just like most online buyer, I also tend to buy in product listing with the highest number of good reviews. But the reality is sometimes the opposite. I first bought the best selling scratchable map in Amazon but get totally dismayed upon receiving it. Since I've been eyeing to buy a scratchable map for years now, I wanted to have the one which meets my standard for quality. I searched again and saw this product listing with fewer than 50 reviews but has a perfect rating of 5. I read all the reviews, scrutinized the posted photos and finally decided to buy again a map set with Tripa Trips. Unfortunately, when the map set arrived, the US map was not included. So, I contacted the seller and the owner promptly resolved the issue. She sent me a new set of map immediately and insisted to keep the first map they sent to me even if I offered to return the first one or only asked to have the smaller US map to be sent to me. After just two days, I received a new complete set of map. As a sign of gratitude, I am writing this first ever review I've done in a product I bought in Amazon. The overall quality of the map is far better than the bestselling scratchable map in Amazon. The world map size is much bigger than the map I first bought. It enables me to easily see each countries and territories and identifies their boundaries when I'm scratching it. The US map size which is slightly smaller than the other one is a non issue. It still is in perfect size and it marks the national parks on it making it a 2-in-1 map (a US map and a US National Parks map). Although it lacks 4-out-of-62 US national parks, I am still overjoyed that I can have the majority of the parks marked. You can put a pin on it or like me whose framing this map will gonna put a location pointer sticker on each national parks I've visited. Both map sizes are easily frameable. The paper quality is also much better than the other. The thickness and most especially the glossiness of it make the maps look better and makes the different colors of the countries & territories more vibrant. One of the main issue I had with the first map I bought is it not easy to scratch to a point that my hand is hurting when I'm scratching it for a while. It also leaves residue of the 'golden' foil on it even if I tried so hard to scratch it all. All of that issues are not present in this map. It is the main reason why I'm standing by this map. Added bonus is the scratch pen that is included in the set. It makes scratching the boundaries more easily and perfectly done. Since this is an honest and sincere review, the only one thing I am still rooting for improvement is that hopefully all of the countries and territories flags are in it (not just UN member countries). One of my favorite countries, Taiwan's flag is not here (since it is not a UN member). Overall, I am standing by this product and knows that it definitely deserves more buyers than those maps with thousands of reviews on it.

We gave it as a present to a couple who probably already has everything, and it’s hard to find a gift or an item that they still don’t have. They love to travel and it made them excited to even add more cities in their next travels and update the map with their new destinations. The package has two maps - world map and US map. They already framed the US map. :-)

We got this world map where you can scratch off countries you have visited 😊! Also, can used as an educational tool where flags of the countries at the bottom of the map ! Looks amazing in the family room and map details is excellent ! Even though, it is scratch off …. It is very neat ! Size is perfect for any room and was a smaller map of USA as well as a bonus ! Amazing gift for a traveler ! Colors are bright and sunny 💝

There are many pluses to this item, such as the size, the quality of the paper it is printed on, and the flags provided for extra character and scratch-off fun. The drawbacks I noticed though are it is tough to get to lie flat after coming out of the box, the provided tools can scratch off some of the underlying map color if you're not careful, and some of the smaller areas are tough to scratch off without catching some of the neighboring territories. For me, it didn't quite hit the mark, however someone who is a little less neurotic than me may very well love it. Overall, I give it 4 stars because most of my above objections are personal preference, but do be careful about how you scratch off the areas because the underlying map printing is not as durable as you may hope. Great value for the money though.

The map is nice and a very good size. The only bad thing is that the case arrived a little bent on one side. It's a shame because it's nice packaging. Otherwise everything was fine and shipping was very fast.
