Rotten Apple #1: Mean Ghouls

I read this book with my nine year old niece and we found it fun and delightful. She and all her friends are into zombies, werewolves and vampires. I was curious how the author would handle what could be a gruesome subject. The story is essentially about a young lady who contracts the disease of Zombitius and how she deals with the difficulties that arise from this situation. The main character, Megan, must make new friends while navigating the social pitfalls of the Zombie Academy. It was a fun read, the characters learned a valuable lesson and no one was eaten in the process. I couldn't recommend it more.

Great series for the young fiction reader

My daughter loves the Rotten Apple and Candy Apple books, they have all been a hit with her. She has been reading them since she was 9 and she is now 11. Just wish they were a bit longer because she reads so fast!

I recommend this book to any zombie loving ppl it has some scary parts but not too scary that a 8 year old couldn't handle. I love the plot and the zombitus I love how the diesel is named that!

This book was very mysterious and page-turning. I read it in 2 days and I can honestly say that this is probably my favorite zombie-like book!
