Easy to use safe and reliable connection
Love these things makes installing lights and fans on ceiling so much easier. much better quality than some other lever nuts I havetried and much easier than using traditional twist on wire nuts. makes an easier to verify safe connection many times wire nuts fail pull test especially when connectin solid to straned wire as in most lighting situations.

These original Wago 221's are fantastic
I ordered these Wago connectors after seeing a few youtube videos on them. For some reason, they popped in my feed. I'm glad they did. I ordered this assortment pack and it came today just in time for me to put in a bathroom fixture. The connectors are so much better than wire nut connectors. I can never go back. Much easier to use and more secure. I like I can put them over the wires coming out of the wall once the old fixture was off to insulate them (even though power was off but I like doubling up safety). Unlike a wire nut that you have to take off, expose the wire and put the fixture wire together, and twist this one you just push the fixture wire through and close the clamp. It's just a better mousetrap. I watched videos of guys pumping through 4 to 10 times the rated amps on these things. They would have no problem on a full 30amp or even 60 amp push but in real-world applications these 221's would only be used for 30 amps or MUCH less. I'm using it on an LED light today that pulls a whopping 25 watts. If you do electrical projects around the house these are great. Also in gang boxes that might have 3, 4 or 5 neutrals or grounds you don't have to wrestle them all in a wire nut. just pop each on in the 3 or 5 Wago and it's clean and easy.

Easiest to use new product for electrical wiring
These are becoming more popular for replacing the old common wire nuts in electrical wiring applications, They're popular in Europe, but not yet too well known in the US. Very simple to use: Just strip the wire (a stripping gauge is printed on the connectors side), lift up the tab, insert the wire, and close the tab. No special tools needed. The wire can be removed by reversing the process. These accept one wire per section: If you're joining four wires, you'll need to purchase a connector with at least four sections. They accept any wire gauge from 24 awg to 12 awg, making them suitable for house wiring, automotive wiring, electronic work, etc. The manufacturer, Wago, also provided an access hole, so the assembled connector can be probed with a test meter or light after assembly.

Quick easy and secure.
A lot nicer to use over traditional wire nuts, especially if you have multiple wires to be connected.

I knew there had to be a better way...
These things are solid gold. I've worked in the automotive industry for over 10 years, and am an engineer at heart. I recently purchased my first house, which means ALL the repairs/mods are done by myself. I can't believe for the life of me how ridiculously chintzy house wiring is. After working with vehicle connections that are normally crimped>soldered>heatshrinked>taped>wireloomed, my first encounter with wire nuts included much scoffing and ridicule. After perusing the NEC and many, many message boards, I found that wire nuts are not only common, but they seem to be the industry standard! What a joke! Master electricians in the trade for 25+ years swear by wire nuts. I'm sure they do ok, but as someone who appreciates "kaizen", wire nuts are just not ok with me. The WAGO's not only hold secure, but they have an easy access test port on the front. The levers work perfect and click solidly. The clear case lets you see if a conductor got hung-up before it was fully inserted. THEY WORK WITH STRANDED WIRE. they accept 12-28 gauges. Honestly, there's not a whole lot more you could ask for, except for a cheaper price tag, maybe? Regardless, I will be ordering many, many more. The 5 conductor ones are my absolute favorite. No more mashing a lump of wires together, and blistering your fingers trying to twist on a huge nut. The PERFECT application for these are ceiling fans.

Great product, especially for homeowners. It greatly simplifies wire connections.
Just when I got the hang of twisting wires together and putting on a wire nut or cap, along comes a product that makes this incredibly easy. All you do is strip the insulation off the wire about 5/8" , lift the Wago lever and insert the wire, close the lever and bingo, you're done. All the black wires go in one connector and all the white wires go in another connector. I got incredibly lazy and actually used a Wago for connecting the bare grounding wires. I would get the connector pack with various sizes. I was pretty sure I would be using the 3 wire connectors the most and then I had a need for the 2 wire connectors. It was great to have the flexibility. Also amazing is that the connector wire size goes from 12 gauge to 24 gauge. This is a huge range, but I recently used one to connect a 24 gauge grounding wire and it was no problem and gave a very positive connection.
