Does what it should!
It's a good piece of kit and work like it should I'm happy with it.I highly recommend a 1/2" offset ratcheting wrench though as there's as lot of threads to turn around and depending on your rack it can be pretty tight.Instructions recommend silicone or butyl inside both caps where it hits the pipe to make it water tight.I'd also recommend putting a dab in each screw hole before you put the screws on & running a bead on the end's of the caps where it meets the PVC Just to keep everything nice and rain tight.

Exactly what I needed
Product was bought as used and was exactly what I thought it would be. Very solid material and locking device works great, I am using this on 4" SCH 40 PVC the only failure with the product is the screws it came with did not work well with the pipe had to adjust the placement of the screws as it was not getting a good fit the screws provided are def not made for PVC pipe but after several runs through the car wash and some rain no leaking inside of on my fly fishing rods so 5 stars

Rod travel tube
The media could not be loaded. Use these for Rod tubes they work great easy to install.

Perfect for my application
I only needed it for a storage space for my 6 ft levels on a camper shell tool box. Slipped a 4 inch piece of plywood in the pvc pipe and it works Like a charm keeping things separated.

Works great
Easy to install, fits 4” sch 40 PVC pipe perfectly.Only Thing I think they need to improve on is mounting plates the U-bolts bolt to, should be solid not thin pressed metal.Overall a good product 👍🏻
