Have a short in Dodge Ram, battery kept going dead. I don't drive it much and this was a game changer. I park truck, pop hood, lock doors then turn switch off. DId not drive truck for 2 months, turned switch on, truck started right up. Awesome!!!!! Get negative switch by the way, safer from what i read.

Works awesome easy to install.. I put it on a Chevy Avalanche.. also great for security on your vehicle if you're not using it all the time May not work obviously if you are using an alarm system because you're using it to shut off the power but at least it can't start the car unless a open the hood. I like it. couldn't be any easier unless it was inside your vehicle 😀

These work good. I bought 3. One for each of my trucks. I don’t drive certain trucks all the time so this is a quick fix to unhook the battery and keep it from going dead. I just add a little dielectric grease to it and I’ve not had any issues.

Unlike other designs of battery disconnect that use a screw mechanism, the blade design of this item works quickly, easily and reliably. The insulated base could be stronger, hence 4 rather than 5 stars, but otherwise this is a good product at a good price.

Works great love it does the job

I have a car with a battery drain. Great car but something drains my battery while it’s not in use. I use this to disengage my battery while I’m not driving. It’s easy to use. It’s saves me from getting stranded. Eventually I might figure out the drain issue but until then this is an inexpensive, easy, functional and durable way to be able to get on with my life and not worry that my car won’t start.

I have an older car and I do not drive it much. It is much easier to lift the switch when I park the car and when I get ready to drive it, I just put the switch down and it is ready to go. It has saved my battery.

Pretty light duty, I question how long they last
