Barbell is useless - one end obviously defective. The other pieces are great - challenging and easy to use. All exercises really engage your core. However, for the price I would expect a set without defects. I really wanted the barbell most of all and now I can't use it. I contacted the seller but haven't heard back so I may have to return the whole thing I only have a week left to do so. Update: seller got back to me and sent the correct piece priority shipping. Great product and provides a decent overall workout . It is expensive, but built to last

I've been researching pool exercise equipment since my wife & I are getting older and have limited range of motion due to arthritis. I've been a weight lifter all my life, so it was hard to finally admit I couldn't lift the heavy weights anymore. I was skeptical that this would give a good workout. Let me tell you, I couldn't move my shoulders and arms for 2 days afterwards. WHAT A WORKOUT! If you have access to a pool and want a strenuous workout without the damage to your joints, YOU NEED THIS SET! Even my wife loves them. A little on the pricey side but well worth the $.

I own the blue max resistance aqualogix fins and bells. I also own the aquastrength barbell, dummbells and fins. In terms of fins the aquastrength fins are definitely superior to the aqualogix ones, I'd recommend buying those (and not the ones in this pack). I do think the aqualogix bells are superior and have more uniform resistance for things like punching type moves. Both pale however to the aquastrength dumbbells as those offer most resistance of any product on the market. Anyways, personally, I would recommend going to the hydro evolution website and building your own bundle with aqualogix bells and aquastrength fins to get the best of both worlds. The barbell is also fun. I mostly swing it baseball style which gives a good core workour. If you can spring for it get the aquastrength dumbbells as they are excellent (though expensive). In fact I probably use the aquastrength dumbbells and fins the most. Followed by the aqualogix bells. I am very dissapointed in the aqualogix fins hence the missing star.

This is the first stuff I’ve actually used religiously to exercise. It’s really effective. I have very bad arthritis and the pain during exercise is very discouraging. I can control the resistance by being less aggressive which can’t be done with regular weights. With those you either do it or you don’t. With these you can put as little or as much force as is comfortable. I was surprised about how many different exercises you can do. Obviously you need access to a pool to use these.

Purchased a smaller 16' pool, and no room to swim, so purchased for my WORK-OUT 50 year old son. Joke, until he started using them. I am 73 and played with the arm ones, and fell over-my-feet with the fins... LOVE THEM A most for anyone looking for a work-out as well-as-a-nice swim...

My only regret in purchasing this equipment was not purchasing sooner!! I contemplated this purchase for a couple of months. I originally ordered this for my husband who does water aerobics with me twice a week. After the first use I came home and ordered a set for myself (the pink ones 😉) but what girl does like pink workout equipment! After one workout, following the instructional sheet included we could FEEL the difference. We was sore afterwards but while in the water it was so painless unlike land workouts! Definitely worth the investment! If your thinking about buying this , DO IT! Only pool workout equipment you will ever need!
