Works well, but requires reading the manual
I used a 10lb CO2 tank with no syphon, which means it is necessary to turn the donor tank upside down. From there, followed directions carefully and filled up my first empty SodaStream tank with 240 grams of CO2, which is about half full, in minutes. I did not try prefreezing the SodaStream tank. Perhaps with prefreezing the SodaStream tank will fill more. Either way, $25 for 10lbs of CO2 is equivalent to 10 full SodaStream refills, meaning I am saving over $125. The big advantage is that I can now make all the sparkling water I want and not worry about the cost. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent refill kit
Works exactly as stated. Unlike some reviews, I did not find it difficult to slowly open the valves to allow filling of the sodastream canisters. In fact, they opened smoothly and progressively so that it was easy to regulate flow of CO2 into the canisters. Well built. The length of the recharging line is exactly right, giving some leeway in positioning your canister while not being too long.

Very difficult to work
I am not sure I can open these valves any slower per the suggestions by other users. I have 4 bottles and I can not get any of them any more than 820g total weight. H aiming for 1150g.) The pressure gauge never gets more than halfway to the green zone. My source tank is brand new food grade with the siphon tube. (No need to invert.) My concern is that it just does not have enough pressure to fill the soda stream bottles or is the anti fill valves in all four bottles just too darn sensitive. It’s got me totally stuck. I don’t believe that there is an issue with this product, but the documentation is not very helpful.

Did what it was supposed to do
This product worked perfectly for filling my sodastream canisters. Adapter was well made, and fit securely.Important to note that the newer canisters are fit with a one way valve to prevent refilling. The instructions that came weren’t very clear on how to get around it. The trick is to open the co2 slowly from the main tank until it is just making noise and just wait for the sodastream canister to fill slowly. Also, you will need a main co2 tank with siphon tube or invert the co2 tank.

Unable to get it to function
I followed all the instructions multiple times. I have read all reviews. It simply doesn't work. The gauge immediately read 400psi and then never changes. I thought perhaps faulty gauge, but it doesn't carbonate when tested.

Works No Problems
I works, no problems. I think following the video out there for CO2 filling are kind of funky when it comes to the dial valve that attaches to your soda stream canister. I would say before attaching to the soda stream canister turn the black dial knob and look at the pin that moves up and down which contacts the canister that way you will understand what happen when you turn the black knob one way or the other.

Great to save money but difficult to figure it out
I like that I can save money on my sodastream by refilling the bottles for cheaper. It’s an initial investment but worth it in the long run. What I don’t like is that is very difficult to figure out how to fill the soda stream bottles. It did take an hr or more to figure it out. My best recommendation is to watch a few YouTube videos. I think putting the Big CO2 upside down connecting everything and placing the sodastream bottle on gram scale and slowly (really slowly) opening the valve and watching the grams go up when the right amount is open. If it’s opened too quickly, the force shuts the valve and you have to start all over.I think you may be able to around this by buying a paint ball co2 canister. I haven’t tried that. But I think you need to buy another adapter for the soda stream.Overall worth the investment if you can figure it out. But it’s not Fool proof. It almost fooled me.
