It does not work on my Ascent™ Series blender in Australia.

Although it’s written in the description that it’s self detect, my blender device (A3500) is not recognizing it as if there is nothing on top, I’m so disappointed I had to order it from USA to Saudi Arabia

Vitamix in their infinite wisdom have decided to install NFC chips in jugs to prevent jugs being used across countries or across their own blender models! While the jug physically fits and should work with an ascent blender, this is not the case. For those wanting to get past this lunacy, there are reddit posts on how to read and write nfc codes so you can place an NFC card in the base of your blender .
