Worked great for my needs, and will probably come in handy for other surfaces too!
The media could not be loaded. I’m incredibly happy with this product! So far I’ve used it to cover my desk (it had some minor surface damage like paint spatters and water rings) as well as a cheap cardboard box I’m using as a computer riser. It’s very easy and forgiving to apply- like a large sticker, but more repositionable. To avoid surface bubbles or wrinkles, I’d recommend applying it slowly and in sections (only peel an inch or two when you first apply), then smooth down as you go. I used the edge of a small smooth box to do this, but it could probably be done with a credit card or just fingers. I also included a photo of what the sections look like overlapping. Not too noticeable, but they might catch if you slide something across the surface? Since there was still a lot left on the roll, I tested small strips on my countertop, my refrigerator, and a painted wall, and they appear to be holding just fine so far, without any adhesive residue or damage when removed. My only issue has been where I hadn’t trimmed exactly to the edge on the desk, and my arm kept catching on it as I used my mouse. I trimmed and lightly sanded that edge and now it doesn’t catch at all. It has a few issues trying to be folded around a corner as well- flat pieces work, but it doesn’t stay folded well (like on my cardboard box) if you’re hoping to use it for an application that requires that.

Big improvement
This is a temporary fix for me but a huge improvement. I had a old closet that the previous owners had pulled off wood paneling from leaving behind seriously damaged and drywall underneath covered in glue spots. I put poster board over the whole area and then this wallpaper overneath. Does it look perfect? Absolutely not. Does it look good enough to make me feel happy with the space? Absolutely. I bought five rolls of this stuff and one of them came messed up (the first three images). Around 3/4 of the roll obviously some type of manufacturing error take place. Typically with stuff like this you have the actual wallpaper itself and then a type of backing paper on the back to protect the adhesive. The majority of one of the five roles did not have backing paper so it was just two layers of wallpaper on top of each other. Unfortunately because they were on top of each other both bits of it were unusable because one side had no adhesive properties and the other was very damaged. Luckily I bought more than I needed so it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall very happy especially for the price.

Built in adhesive is useless, not tough, but easy to use
The built in adhesive is useless, it's pretty much post-it glue. I have no idea why you would ever want that level of stickiness on a surface. But you can just use contact cement to attach instead which actually works. It isn't very tough, dont expect a surface with it on to take significant abuse. The lack of toughness also means it can stretch during application, especially going over an edge. After one edge it is still tolerable, after a second there is zero chance of two sheets lining up right. All that said, it's easy to work with and cheap. Cut out a sheet a little larger than the surface, put down contact cement, roll it flat, trim down edges with a plain old pocket knife and boom. Pretty nice looking surface is done. The edges/corners are tricky, two sheets meeting on an edge won't look right on close inspection and you can't go over more than one edge due to the stretchiness of the material. But on a flat surface two sheets laid down next to each other (with the manufacturer edge) meet so flawlessly it takes active search to find them even when you know where they are. Definitely do some practice runs first when working with this stuff, it takes getting used to but is great for a cheap, utilitarian project.

Buy it
So nice and smooth. Easy to put on and peel of if you made a mistake it. I used it on my bathroom cabinets and it looks so good. Definitely would buy again.

Amazon, you should be ashamed of yourself!
One star because I couldn't give it zero. The product looks nice but it is thin, brittle (rips when you remove the paper), glue is garbage. This is the sorriest excuse for shelf paper ect i have ever had the misfortune to work with. Do not buy. Must do better amazon.

Scuffs Easily
I like the color and it was very easy to install. The adhesive isn't the best and it scuffs way too easily.

Great Cover for Old Desks or Lining Cabinets
I actually used this contact paper (Blk) which I found to be quite sturdy, to cover a night stand and my desk. After laying the contact paper, I went back to cut off the ends that overlapped. And I was pretty shocked at how easy it was when I cut the contact paper. I was able to use a razor (the blade that is used to peel paint). This contact paper has a decent adhesive; you can lift the paper and re-align it if you make a mistake. This is the second (2) time I have purchased this specific item. This quality paper is definitely worth the purchase price. Have fun.

Nice
Better quality than expected. Thick, feels sturdy. Easy to peel off backing and stick (and restick after dropping it accidentally where I didn’t want it). Cuts easily with scissors but won’t tear.

Best I’ve Found
Ordered other brands which were ok but a bit difficult to apply and the paper on the back was irritating due to not wanting to come off but these rolls were and are amazing

Recomendable
Lo use para poner en la ventana del cuarto de mi bebé, no queda totalmente obscuro, pero si ayuda a oscurecer la habitación.

Smooths out nicely and decent adhesion.
I used this to line an old tube tester cabinet. Kind of a pain to fit but it stuck surprisingly well. A little super glue for insurance at the corners and all was well.
