Reduced the number of stars because of the 'after-thought' designed mounting system. The mounts are cheap and of sub-standard design. Needs some sort of 'slide in/on' type mount because you DO HAVE TO REMOVE THE DEVICE TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES. SO, MAKE IT EASIER. Now that I am past my ranting, it is a nice little motion activated light strip. It would also be nicer, in my opinion, if the bright-light-shut-off activity was not present. I use it under a kitchen cabinet and thus it only functions at very low room light levels. I knew this when purchased, so no real issue. Think it would be a more useful device. Is it a real issue if the closet light comes on when you walk in during the day, may be even helpful?

I put this in my dark closet and aimed it toward the back so that it would not shine directly in my eyes when opening the doors. the brackets that hold the light were a pain i had to get tweezers to seperate them to put them up and the screw is so small count on having to search for it a couple of times as it falls while trying to use it. The brackets are nice for a solid hold but since i am facing the shelves in the closet it does not trigger when opening the bifold doors i have to reach up and wave my hand in front of it to make it sense the motion. I could have installed a tap light since i basically have to tap it to get it to turn on.

overall the light does work however the combined light sensor and motion sensor make it finiky as to when it comes on. Sometimes when i need it on for more light it won't come on because there is to much light but still not enough for me and when it does come on it it doesn't stay on long enough. I am writing this review at the request of the company that provided it and while the light gets 3 stars i would have to give the company 5 stars WBC is obviously concerned about their customers satisfaction and that is a great thing.

This is a great little light for dark areas. But I must remind you it only stays on for about 15 seconds unless continued movement happens. If continued movement in vision of light happens then it will stay on. Also, this light doesn't really work if there is available light from outside sources. My example is that I use this in our kitchen sliding doors sized pantry closet. If I don't block the lights from the ceiling the light won't come on; yet I need this light in there to reach food items that are placed to the far left or right. But I would recommend anyone that needs an inside light in a dark area this is the one for you!

The light sensor of this product is very erratic. Sometimes it would turn on in low light and sometimes it wouldn't. This was really frustrating because I placed it in my closet, and I could see that the closet was dark, but for some reason the light sensor would only trigger sometimes. The fact that the light lacks a manual switch is a huge problem because I couldn't use it consistently.

The motion detection & lighting is very good. I use it under my tonneau cover on my pickup. I decided to secure the clips with screws on one of the alum. support cross bars rather than with velcro. It is very bright & lights up my truck bed very well. The 2 star rating is due to battery life. With 6 AAA & LED's, I thought I would get better than 4 to 5 wks of life with very little use.

I use this for my dog for when he eats at night time. I have mounted this righ above if food and water bowls. When he walks under for a drink or bite, the light instantly comes on. it only lasts for 15 seconds but when he moves it come on again. The battery last a about 2-2.5 months at a time but this also depends on how often the light comes on.

We decided to mount these in the bathroom quietly hanging on picture frame above the stool.... Just entering the bathroom in the dark and no need to find the light switch. Nice illumination; nice battery life; great the way they can hide in plain sight, and then perform so well!! Very cool.
