I was super excited to try my new old bed with all these extras and on, and I was not disappointed. We live in Houston so cooling is a main feature plus major comfort. I washed and dried this cover, then added my new cooling gel topper with a cooling pillow top cover. It works nicely, I was surprised I was able to fit the cover over all the additional layers but it worked. I love my new layers even though my mattress is really high. I dont know how waterproof this is yet but so far I am happy with my purchases.Update, the mattress pad works awesome. Fully tested by my little kid, no crinkly sounds at all and kept everything beneath it completely dry when an accident happened.

Well my kid finally peed in my bed again, so it was time to try out the new bed protector, my old one was plasticy and felt terrible, this new one is night and day better, very happy with the feel, hopefully it protects the same!

I live in Texas. We have over 100% humidity and really hot summers. I got a new mattress and want it protected so got this mattress cover to go on it. I love that is made of bamboo, fits my mattress amazingly, is comfortable and waterproof. I have six children and 2 grandchildren who do tend to spill things. This will protect my mattress and keep it like new. Its soft and comfy although I do put my sheet on top of it.

I hate to be one of the first reviewers to leave a negative feedback, but this is my experience. I put the protector on my bed and though it looked nice, it did not meet up to my expectations. On the side that is slippery, when put on the bed, it slides everywhere, does not stay in place and bunches up. I tried tucking it in tighter, etc, but it still slid. I cannot return it because I have slept on it. I will be throwing it away and have already ordered another protector.

Great cover...its truly waterproof...comfy...doesnt sleep weird or make noises....i dont feel it sleeps any cooler tho...but thats ok,we sleep with the fan on anyway so whatevs!.....bought one to go on a twin as well...same outcome...if tou need an affordable and nice mattress protector this one is very nice...its soft and has deep pocket corners as well to accomadate all sizes and styles...wont be dissappointed...im not

I hoped that this thing would be a completely made out of bamboo derived fiber, but it says that it is a polyester blend with about half bamboo fiber. The process of getting the fibers out of bamboo so it can be made into a fabric is probably pretty intense production wise, so not even sure if it was a good idea to get this from a production/ water savings stand point.Another not so great point is that it has a slick 100% polyester lining that makes this thing waterproof, and not as I was hoping, some kinda fancy weaving. It makes the other layers in this thing slide around quite a bit and I don't really like that at all. I am too cheap and lazy to try and return it, I will just deal with not liking it. Knowing my luck it probably will be really durable and last for ten years like my old mattress protector...

The mattress and bed are made for each other. Same manufacturer.The mattress is too long for the bed! It stick over the foot end of the platform by 2-3 inches.The mattress doesn’t have ANY support for the mattresses edges… you’ll lay in bed and notice that you’re rolling off to the edge because there isn’t a higher density foam reinforcing the sides.My back still hurts. It’s uncomfortable

This product did not protect our $1000 mattress from becoming stained! It has been washed twice following manufacturers washing directions and I’m highly upset that the cover did not protect our mattress.12/8/20:Update: after unsuccessful attempts to contact the company, they reached out to me after my original review. They did offer to replace the cover at no cost to me and have reached to me several times for a follow up. I placed the new cover on my bed last night, so hopefully the new cover protects our mattress !
