Great Tool!
I work full time in Telecom and I purchased my first in January of 2023. I’ve used my screwdriver 5 days a week for practically 2 years and I have never had an issue until recently, it just burnt out. The gyro stopped working. So. I went ahead and purchased another. I love this thing. I’m not too upset about it burning out, as Dewalt supplies you with a 3 year warranty. So I have contacted them about a replacement of my original. Great tool if you’re just a casual user, a handy man, or a blue collar man like myself or anyone really. It has great strength turning screws into wood, cement, plastic. Etc. great value for your money and it’s compact. The weight of it is sturdy, comfortable and easy to use, you don’t need to spin your wrist too much to get the thing in motion. I think it’s a no brainer. Get you one! Or another like myself lol.

Great tool, intuitive design and easy to use
Why did you pick this product vs others?:An electrician friend came over to do some work and had one of these. It was so easy to use and so handy that I had to have one. I’ve used it a number of times since and not just for electrical work. It doesn’t have the torque of a larger drill, but it’s easy to use and fits in really tight spaces.

Most useful gadget
Do you need one of these? Probably not. If you’re a gadget addict, it’s a must have! Powerful and functional, it locks to break a fastener loose and then quickly removes it. The 1/4” hex collar accepts multiple attachments. It really is quite functional as a low torque automatic driver. It takes a minute to get used to the sequence of holding the paddle switch and then rotating the barrel left or right. The more you turn, the faster it operates. It is really great if you have a lot of screws. Otherwise, it is for the gadget junkie who has everything. Well worth the money.UPDATE: I have to comment on DeWalt’s Customer Service. After several months, I had a problem with an accessory and contacted the company. Other than proof of purchase, they required nothing to address my issue. The representative did not hesitate to find a solution that made me extremely happy! I have been a DeWalt guy for many years and this level of service will keep me coming back. Just to be clear, the problem was MY FAULT, not the product.

Great value and function
More affordable version of the older one with the adjustable handle, but doesn the job.Save on repetitive work injuries if you are turning/twisting a lot of screws.Bits are positively retained and easily changed. Best tool in it's class. Nothing close except the other older Dewalt model.Easy to get a good grip and not much heavier than a regular screwdriver.

Very powerful
So powerful it will rip whatever you are holding right out of your hand if you don't watch it. At first the controls took a bit to get used to. You press the button and the motor whirrs but nothing moves. Then you twist the entire drill a little to the left, and it starts turning - powerfully. Then twist it the other way and it turns the other way. In a few seconds you get the feel for it. Turn the drill a little, it turns the bit slowly. Twist it a little more, and the speed goes up. It is really ingenious and works great. It will be such a time saver. It is heavy, solid, the grip is perfect, and feels like it will last forever.

AMAZING!! Very intuitive, gyro is amazing - this thing rocks!!
I bought this as I wanted a power screwdriver that had variable speeds. This one has that and it is super easy to use. I use it for small hobbies and on 1.5mm to 2.5mm screws. This means I am using it at a slow speed and watching the torque at times. It's great and the gyro function works perfect. Tap the power button and the light will light, insert and hold power button, turn in either direction. The more you turn while holding the power button, the faster it will spin. If you release the power button and press again, it is as if you are in neutral and any prior rotation is nulled out. Something to think about for those that tap the power button instead of adjusting the gyro and position.I totally recommend this, she saw the name Dewalt and was instantly fine that I had bought a product with a quality brand name. I joked that I would probably lose it before it broke...- 6 Month review - It's been 6 months, still pretty handy and I really like it. The downside is that it is temperamental now and works some time (gyro) and sometimes it doesn't. It seems that when I have it horizontal and the tool has the top upright - the gyro seems to work fine. It has become temperamental though which I really dislike.

Gyro is great, but after 3 years I think my trigger switch is failing.
Three years ago I bought this. I'm not a 'builder' so my usage is pretty light - a burst of use once a month or so. Maybe a few uses in between, and none of them were so heavy to drain the battery in the middle of the work - so the battery life, even after 3 years is great. The gyro mechanism was originally great however I might be having a problem with the trigger switch. Sometimes the light comes on and there's no gyro action. Sometimes the gyro kicks in and then stops almost instantly. I don't recall ever dropping it, so I don't know about the durability aspect, but it seems ok - other than the switch.I'd like my tools to last longer, especially when I'm not using them like a commercial builder might. With the switch/gyro issue, I'm not certain I've got the value for the money factor that I expected.
