I’ve been using these for storing coffee beans.They fit a12 oz. bag of beans perfectly.They don’t keep out 100% of the air, as you’d need a vacuum, but I’ve found they keep the beans fresher longer than in the original bags.The locks are easy to open and close.I’ve bought two and print up labels to stick on them.

The square canning jar is just what I've been looking for. The container is air tight, it's a better quality of glass than in local stores. I have a set purchased at a local department store and was very frustrated at the quality since I have a few that have survived a 35 year marriage with no chips or negative issues. I gave a couple to my children. This quality is just not in department stores. I use them for storage of dry goods i.e. flour, sugar, rice etc. My two adult children were suprised I found this also, and will be getting some too. I will be replacing the ones I wasted money on, very soon. Product also arrived the next day and was packaged beautifully. No way this could have broken in transit. Price is reasonable.

I like that this container has a square cross section with rounded corners (rather than the cross section being a circle). I also like the clean attractive appearance. The wide mouth opening was essential for my purposes. And as luck would have it at 8 3/4 inches the height of the 1.5 liter container fits perfectly in the drawer where I store loose tea, tea bags and coffee. As my headline notes the 1.5 liter container holds a pound of ground coffee and keeps it fresh which was why I purchased this size. I've had many jars with this type of lid, gasket and closure mechanism. I've always thought it's a good system. In summary I am super pleased with this product.

The jar is nice quality, the service was good. I am not happy with the shape of the jar, too tall and narrow. I prefer the previous 1 1/2 liter I had which was shorter and wider, but I have not been able to find them available.

I bought this large jar to store my freshly made juice. I like juicing, but hate cleaning the machine daily. This airtight container keeps a large amount of juice fresh for days so that I don't have to use the machine daily anymore.

This jar is EXACTLY what I wanted. I am giving my granddaughter my recipe for red beet pickled eggs because she loves them so much. Now she will be able to make her own. the container is good because it is cylindrical and the eggs get covered with the juice more easily than a regular bowl. The gasket keeps the juice from spilling. PERFECT!!!!!!

I bought this jar to use for my sourdough starters. It's nice and big, so I can actually make a good batch. It cleans easily and I'm quite pleased with it. Sylvester likes it also. (that's my starter's name).
