The Ryrie NAS Study Bible Soft-Touch Black Red Letter (Ryrie Study Bibles 2008)

This is my second Ryrie NAS Study Bible and I am very satisfied with footnotes, references, concordance, study helps, illustrations, etc. With that said, I am not pleased with the format. The chapter # is in bold print, but the verse #'s are extremely difficult to locate. There is no indentation for the verses so they all run together. For reading the Bible this is OK, but to seek particular scriptures, it is a severe hindrance. The print is a little small, but that is the fault of my old eyes and not the Bible.

It is overall a good quality. However, I think the pages are a little thin. It's still okay to read, but if someone has sensitive eyes, or not the best lighting, I can see it being an issue. Also, for some reason, I thought this one had chapter tabs on the outside for quick referencing - but now that i read through the details, I think I was confused between the 5 bibles I was choosing between. I am happy with this bible, and will keep and use it, as it is good for studying - but I will probably be buying a tabbed one, as well.

Received my Ryrie Bible today. I received it a day earlier than expected. Thank you Amazon.I got the box and I was thinking "What, did I do? Did I mess my order up?" The box was so thing compared to other study Bibles I have received.I love the size of this Bible. The font is excellent, the print is great and I love Jesus in red. It is also an indexed Bible.I am able to read the study notes with clarity. The Bible is flexibleI ordered this because I needed a NASB version. I am so glad I got it.The notes are not as extensive as some of the other Bibles, but I need to be able to go to the Lord and learn His Word on my own. This Bible, allows for study notes, yet, you can still learn from the Holy Spirit and not someone else's notes. There is plenty of margin space for making notes as well.

Love the Ryrie Systematic Theology and wanted a Bible to use with it when teaching a series of classes in 2016. Beautiful Bible, but it started to fall apart 3 years later so that it is not convenient to carry to class/church. I have been using/carrying Bibles for over 30 years, treat them well, and have never had one fall apart. It appears the glue used was either substandard or insufficient amount used.

The world most beloved book.The contents of this bible has a wealth of additional information. Looking at the overall appearance which in itself is a beautiful black supple cover.There is a verse stamped into the back cover which is hard to read on the black cover, however in a different color it may be more readable. The binding is excellent and should last a long time. The paper is an excellent onion skin and takes highlighting without bead through with a good quality highlighter. This Ryrie study bible is a good investment.

I have probably 10 different Bibles; various translations and different study formats. This one is by far my favorite - the NASB translation is very readable and the leather binding make it an absolute pleasure to handle and read. Worth EVERY penny!

Finally.... I found the Perfect Bible!!! I have searched and searched... this one has it all... and for a much better price than so many of them!!!

I ordered six of these gorgeous leather bibles. I had them engraved, and I presented them to four newly ordained Pastors, and two Ministers. They are beautiful gifts indeed. The are easy to read. I should have bought one for myself. I highly recommend this bible. The translation is great.

Excellent translation. Superb binding; a real quality product. One of the best study Bibles available on the market. Ryrie writes from a conservative, dispensational, pre-millennial perspective. Notes are plentiful and sound. Lots of information on history, revelation, and the formation of the cannon. Recommended
