The Plus has been our main “go to” saddle for several years and it’s the seat we recommend for the widest variety of riders and riding events. John thought it was time for a little updating to this veteran product, and he wanted to have longer seat rails for better range adjustability and integration of the rear water system. John took a little weight out of the saddle, changed the bottom edge of the base to help make the saddle look thinner and to help with inner leg chafing. He also eliminated a couple of seams to help it be more water/sweat proof and did all new graphics which will also begin to show up on our entire saddle lineup over the next few months. Our main goal was to not mess the saddle up as the Plus has been a great product and we believe you will see that we have succeeded in bringing you a new and improved Plus2 saddle.

A good saddle.
Very comfortable. Several friends ride with these seats. One swears by it, he has been in the Hawaii Ironman a few times.Seem to be well constructed. Will comment more after riding several hundred miles. So far, so good.A big improvement over the Brooks saddle which your soft parts between your legs still are compressed when riding on the saddle. This is newer and science stands behind it (I'm told) ...

THE CURE FOR THE SPLIT NOSE SADDLE PROBS
I've waited 3 months to write this review because every other saddle I've tried for the last 2 years has let me down in that amount of time. THIS is the saddle that worked for me. I am a triathlete and most people usually find their way to a split nose saddle of some sort. My biggest issue is saddle sores and they all gave me saddle sores. I had professional bike fits (Retul, F.I.S.T.) and no combination of saddle and fit could cure them. The narrower nose in addition to the softer foam on the front was the solution!! I can ride as aggressively as I want and the saddle just stays invisible. I set the saddle up per John Cobb's instructions and save for one minor tweak I haven't touched it. I also found that with split nose saddles I tended to put more weight on my elbows/shoulders which really made long rides even more miserable. I feel like I have better control over the bike as a whole and it really feels more like what my road bike does which is the best that I could have hoped for. The only critique I can give it is that I do tend to slide around on it a little. I'm sure he'll address that in the future with something a little more grippy but I've never been more happy with saddle.
