Doesn't upset your stomach
This is the best iron I have found. My iron levels were low, so my doctor recommended starting iron supplements. I tried a few, and my stomach always hurt but not with this one. I take it on an empty stomach every night and have no issues. My levels are back to where they need to be and it happened quickly. I always recommend this product to anyone who needs iron. I love all Life Extension supplements. Very high quality!

Before you buy, make sure you need it. I needed it BADLY. Iron protein does not cause any interesting side effects -at least in my case, but my fingernails look SO much better.

Worth Every Penny
I take Iron Protein Plus in addition to Life Extension two-a-day. As a person in remission, currently, from Mantle Cell Lymphoma, I had previously found that my vitamin uptake isn't what it should be, and I was physically exhausted quite often. These supplements have really made a life change for me; the two-a-days seem to actually get through to my system, and the iron plus has taken away my lethargy (I am guessing that even though I eat meat almost every day that my digestive system simply isn't able to process the food as well as I'd like). I have had no problems with the iron hurting my stomach, as it seems people say that is a big problem with iron supplements. I have had nothing but a good experience with Life Extension products, they are well worth the money, and to tell the truth, I never went cheap on vitamins previously. Centrum is pretty expensive compared to this, and other products of comparable value from GNC are much, much more. It is a relief to find something so well priced, that does an extremely good job. They've got me as a customer for life, now.

Best iron supplement out there
The Health Extension company is my favorite brand for supplements. So far every supplement I have tried from them has had a noticeable positive difference in my health. They are the best quality and I knew the iron would be top-notch quality. Before this iron supplement, I tried 2 others including the GNC iron supplement and I found this one to be the best. It absorbs better without causing constipation and my iron and energy level has improved.

I started taking these about a month ago as my recent blood test showed an iron deficiency and a depressed red blood cell count. The most recent blood test showed no change in this so I have now swapped to another brand, I feel like I've been taking a placebo for a month.
