I purchased these for my grandsons, I haven't given them to them yet, I'm really tempted to keep one for myself, I may have to purchase more. I love the idea of all the uses and also it will encourage the boys to venture outside more. Many thanks good quality item at a very fair price.

It's a bit "gimmicky" like Rambo style survival knives in the 80's! I got them as a training tool for my son. The whistle is, well, a whistle. Handy in a survival situation. Paracord is great stuff and always handy in a survival situation. The compass isn't very accurate. It waves it's arm in a 90° arc, somewhere around north. Possibly handy in a survival situation.The flint and steel is what I was after and it does the job perfectly. A little knowledge of firestarting, a couple of flicks of the steel and you're off.It's not a bad product. Cheap as chips, a good training tool for the budding outdoorsman. A chunky, manly looking bracelet that you can use to start fires!Is it gonna save you in a "zombie apocalypse"? I'd rather have one than not!

Perfect product for the money, I tought that there will be just one bracelet but it was pack of 2 so I’m more happy,it’s feel solid, flint work and u can see sparks coming. The cord is a good length and sturdy. Thank you

This product is great for any out door activities had a very small fray in the rope but seller was amazing and sent a whole new set big thumbs from me

These are amazing little life savers if you're out in nature. Having a means to start a fire could be the difference to your survival chances.The small fire steel lets you strike sparks onto combustable material. (My advice is to take some small cotton wool facewipes and smear them in vaseline) These can be stored and taken with you.You'd take out a cotton wool swab, then strike some sparks onto it from this firesteel. Once a spark catches the wool it will ignite. Tada! Fire.The cord is also useful for survival needs. unravell it and you have rope to use for a multitude of purposes.There is also a whistle on this item. Obviously for emergency situations to attract attention.This then brings me to the only problem with these bracelets. The Compass.Firstly, there is no issue with the compass ( not on mine anyway ) The issue, which I feel was an oversight in design, is that when you clip the bracelet over your wrist, the compass gets a false magnetic reading and points away from real magnetic north towards the striker of the firesteel.If you remove the bracelet from your wrist, the compass will show the correct bearing to magnetic north, but seems a little pointless to have it on a bracelet that needs to clip around your wrist. Having to unclip it for it to work correctly. Maybe if they fitted it somehow into the paracord braid, this would eleviate the issue.Other than that, these are a fine addition to your outdoor gear. Lightweight and useful, the perfect combination for hiking or travelling in unfamiliar terrain.

Excellent value survival bracelets..very well made

Novelty gift for boys in our forest school group. The bracelets run large (not adjustable) and we have found the whistles can be tricky, but my sons love them and we’ve given them as gifts as well. Looks very cool and seems well made for the price. The saw blade isn’t worryingly sharp.

Compass is accurate enough to get your bearings and the firelighter works really well
