Flawless and functional.
No real instructions, but the process is pretty straightforward. The bottom line, this item works flawlessly. Make sure you know your seat post diameter when you order and that's the key. Adjustment of the cushioning is trial and error, but I just happened to get it right the first time. This is not a $200 item so the setup process is probably not on par with those. I weigh approx. 160 lbs and it's smoothed out my rides probably tenfold. No more jarring rides as the seatpost absorbs well. One of the best purchases I've made this year.

Ride with comfort adjust it for stiffness.
This seat pose is made of great quality. It was very ultra quiet. Adjustable as needed for comfort. It looked cool with the different color options to match my electric bike. It didn't add any weight to complain about whatsoever. I believe it is great quality and a good addition to a ride. It did not bottom out for a 197 pound rider. Worth the money if it works for you.

Perfectly fit my Lectric XP 3.0
Helps with the lack of rear suspension. Not as bouncy as I thought but still gets the job done. The seat angle is slightly different than it should be with the narrow front part a bit elevated. I might end up getting another type if I can’t find a way to adjust it.

Your Butt (and other body parts) will Thank You! - Smoother Rides!
Honestly, this is one of the best improvements on hard tail and hard front bikes! Immediate reduction in transition of bumps from the road to your brain though your spine! The butt (the b@11z, the spine and the head (brain) all feel that the bumps got cushioned! I'm impressed with tension adjustment: it came super tight, but after a few twists became suitable for a comfortable ride. Also, clever design of the stem and adapter - they have "rifled" surface that prevents accidental seat post sinking (unlike previous smooth post that I had). Overall: 5 out of 5 stars!

Well Made, But I Can't Use It!
We have two high-quality bike's that we ride. The first was made by Dynamic (no longer selling retail, corporate only) that came with a suspension seatpost that makes the bike very comfortable to ride on the broken pavement that our city calls "streets." The second bike is a high-end Montague, with an 11-speed Nexus hub and hydraulic disc brakes. Unfortunately, it did not come with a suspension seatpost, so between the aluminum frame and 60lb-plus inflated tires it rides pretty rough here in town. Did some research and ordered one of DJC's suspension seatposts. The Montague's seatpost down-tube needed a 30mm post, and DJC was one of the few that offered a post in that size (by using a tube-shim). Very easy to swap out and install on the bike. The DJC is very handsomely made, using nice quality aluminum and steel materials, all finished very well. It offers the option to adjust how it reacts to bumps by way of a hex-wrench "nut" in the bottom of the post itself, which alters the tension on a compression cushion inside the post by way of a spring that's compressed by that hex-wrench nut. It's well-thought out, well-designed and well-executed. But we can't use it! Why? Because the DJC seatpost has a large "collar" at the top of the outer tube of the post that the upper part slides down into. This collar stops the seatpost tube from simply disappearing down into the frame tube, so it's a really important part of the seatpost. The collar stops the post by butting up against the frame tube at the "pinch bolt" of the bike frame (the part that "locks" the seatpost at the correct height for the rider). The pinch bolt collar is rather substantial in size itself (making it strong and reliable), so it's also on the tall side. This means that between the two collars (seatpost's tube collar and bike's seatpost frame pinch bolt collar) the seat cannot be lowered enough so that my wife can actually fit on the bike safely to ride it. Obviously, the original seatpost (non-suspension type) didn't have this limitation as it is simply a straight tube that will slide all the way down into the frame. This allows the seat to be lowered all the way down until it's sitting on the top frame tube. So why am I explaining all of this? I want to be fair to the DJC seatpost because it is a very well made and quality product for a great price, but it simply can't be adjusted low enough for my wife to use on her bike. This is a real shame, but it in no way should be considered a negative on the DJC component. We really wanted this to work, but unfortunately it isn't possible.

Works Great! 👍
This seat post is great, especially for the money and installs in literally minutes. You can set the tension on how soft or stiff you want it to be on the bottom of the seat post with an allin key and really works great obsorbing shock. It's a must have on any bike.

Zoom suspension post
First, I was a little skeptical I was kind of in the negative side of buying it so I said to myself OK I’ll probably lose $30+ dollars when I grabbed the package I noticed it has some weight to it after I opened it I notice how well the Quality was so I immediately put it on the bike and went for a ride! First thing I noticed how smooth the ride became going through the same bumps. I go through every day when I go cycling, so I really thought that I was going to lose 30+ dollars of my hard-working money! But I was so wrong. This is an amazing product well engineered and the finish is amazing. I am very happy that I got this , riding my mountain bike now is smoother and more enjoyable. I’m really glad I got this would definitely buy again. Zoom makes a great product hands down and the price is excellent!!!! I think the finish and quality goes way beyond the price so I gave it five stars

Short Pole, but comfier ride.
I do notice a major improvement going through bumps with these. I only have two complaints so far. One is I wish the pole were a bit longer since my ebike's seat mount is much lower, the one that came with my bike was quite long. I had to compromise and ride a bit lower, and we'll see if this will affect my ride in the long run. The other complain is with the shim adapter, the seat is a bit loose and spins. I've tried tightening the clamp to no luck. Again, another compromise I might have to live with in exchange for a less bumpy ride.
