Beautiful stain
I love this stain so much. I've purchased like, 4 bottles of it. I am not into the whole white kitchen aesthetic that has been so popular in recent years and when we moved to the house I am in now, I decided to just stain our cabinets to give them a makeover. This stain has held up over time. We stained the cabinets 3 years ago and they still look so shiny and have this beautiful golden oak color. I think the cabinets have a classic, timeless look now. We went on to stain other things in the house with this color. I even used it to stain a plant stand because it just looks so good! I highly recommend this product. It is worth paying a few extra dollars for. I've used the stains you find at other stores and nothing looks as good as this one.

Color accurate, easy to apply
I used this to stain some 2x12 inch maple boards being used as shelf risers inside of a cabinet. Honestly, I just bought this product because it was the cheapest all-in-one stain I could find. I was pleased with the result. The color was exactly as pictured in the Amazon listing, a dark warm walnut. I put on 4 coats and waited 2 hours in between each. It is a milky color when it’s wet but dries clear. You definitely need multiple coats to get a rich color. This product worked well for my small project. The color ended up matching the stain inside my cabinet perfectly.

I love love love it
I love this stuff! So simple and absolutely beautiful only took one coat was easy to apply once I used a foam brush. Had originally used a normal one and looked horrible had to sand and redo it. Love it so much I’m now going to redo all wood in my house with it. It does smell though but not bad at all. Wasn’t to concerned about the babies being around. Stuff in the past I used was awful. Even ppl living above me complained of the strong smell. Only reason I’ve not done my floors but now I can. I highly recommend using this saman stain. It’s amazing and even someone like my self with zero experience could get a beautiful outcome shows how great it is.

Absolutely wonderful . Have bought another pot .
So easy to apply - very little mess and beautiful results for me onto teak. It’s shining like a new conker.

Colour darker than expected, but still easy to use!
The application was very easy to use, but we ordered Teak which I was expecting a colour similar to a true walnut colour, something related to the colour it showed through the pictures, however, it’s much much darker, with a purple undertone (only did 1 application). After a few days the stain looks much better, but still very dark. It ended up working fine for the project we were working on, but I ordered a different colour for my next project!

Super easy to use & beginner friendly
I bought this product to refinish a tabletop that was ruined by accident by my landlord's handyman...I had never done anything even remotely like this before and have no experience with woodworking, painting or staining.I picked this product because it seemed easy to use and didn't require me to buy many different products to get the job done. I don't plan to do anything like this again so buying 2~3 different products would have been expensive and wasteful.I sanded the tabletop down and with a friend's orbital sander (first with a coarse sanding paper and finished it with a fine one).I applied a coat with a new dish sponge, with the wood grain, following the instructions on the can. It was really easy to work with and I didn't have to go super fast. The stain was forgiving. If you forget a dollop somewhere you have a little bit of time to wipe it off before it turns into a dark spot. I applied really thin layers and wiped the excess with a paper towel.I did two coats and the colour darkened a little but not as much as I feared. I picked the colour (amaretto) online, so I couldn't see the can in person, but I lucked out and matched the existing stain perfectly! The stain dries really fast (even though it was quite humid and cold) and leaves a smooth satin finish. Liquids bead on the finish, so I think it'll do a good job being resistant to water damageThe first pictures are outside with full afternoon sun: tabletop before, bare wood and one coat of the stain.Closeup pictures is after two coats and in interior lighting (it looks a bit darker than in person on that picture). I think the stain matches the photo at the bottom of the can pretty well.

Good stuff
Used this product to finish my stairs. Handrails are wood, side trim is laminate, and trim under the shelf is rubbery compound stuff. It was priced reasonably, delivered quickly, and provided the desired finish.I don’t usually like stain, but was pretty pleased with this product. One 32oz tin was easily enough for three coats plus touch ups. I’ve still got over quarter of a tin left. The tin recommended using a natural bristle brush, which I used for the first coat. It was horrible and uneven.I then bought foam brushes from Amazon and used them for the other coats. This was much better and easier. Ignore the recommended brushes and use foam, it will make things much easier. The bristle brushes didn’t clean up very well, and the foam brushes are pretty much disposable after a couple of uses.Overall I was happy with this product, and you can see from the photos that the finish is okay (though I’m not an expert as you can see).
