Longer cut for more protection and won't ride up while wearing a pack. Room for expedition weight/thickness of insulation underneath while still having fully functional arms and mobility. Velcro cuff adjustment. Bombproof outer face fabric (equivalent to Alpha SV line). If you're looking for a jacket that will keep you dry in any weather condition on earth and will take you there year after year, this is the jacket. Fits as expected, because its meant to be able to fit comfortably over thick expedition layers. If you want similar protection in a more slender design, get the Alpha SV.
