Don’t hesitate to include this product in your fight for relief from digestive issues. This of course is not a perfect solution, but for me it works consistently enough that I reach for it daily. Most of the time it completely quells my reflux and brings total relief. Sometimes it just tamps down my symptoms enough to be bothersome but not painful, which I still consider helpful. It has definitely helped me regain a good nights sleep. I tend to not avoid the typical food triggers of reflux because for me even if I eat completely bland foods I still get reflux just as bad. This product still works well even when I drink coffee, wine, and chocolate or tomato based foods and even spicy things. I will continue to buy this because it’s helpful, worth the cost and amazingly enough it actually tastes good. I’m a pastry chef, and I’m hard to please when it comes to flavor. I was completely floored when I tasted this product. I expected an artificial tasting flavor, something that I was willing to tolerate if it helped my symptoms. I was pleasantly surprised to find this has a true caramel flavor similar to a nice caramel ice cream topping. Remarkable!! Overall I give this my highest recommendation which is typically hard to earn. I doubt you will regret using this product but of course you can never please everyone.

Update 9/25 I've been using this for a few weeks now and I'm still really pleased with how well it works for me. I think it's worth trying. Other alginate products don't agree with my stomach, but this one works with no side effects, which for me is unusual as typically everything upsets my stomach. I'm really please with this product.Original Review: It works but one tube only lasts a bit over 10 days, so if you are dealing with LPR you are going to need a few tubes.It really does work, it tastes great (if you think it's nasty, you've never had to take a really nasty medicine, LOL) and it's easy to take. Unlike similar products with alginate in them (Gaviscon and products like it that come in tablet form) this one does NOT cause me stomach/intestinal pain.I took off a star because it's not the move cost effective treatment, but it works and I don't mind taking it, so I'll be paying it!

I had an especially bad episode of Gerd, chest pain and acid burning my throat. I stopped taking the proton pump inhibitors because I read long term use isn’t healthy, and they were starting to make me feel bad, but there isn’t much else that helps. This time I also had to eat non triggering foods exclusively. I researched and found alginate was highly recommended. Since taking this product morning, bedtime and after meals I seem to be healing. It comes in a tube reminiscent of lotion or shampoo, which means it doesn’t travel well in a car or purse- single packaging travels better. I believe they sell it that way too. Taste is not bad. I put a little in a measuring spoon because I don’t want to use it up fast by guessing the amount incorrectly. The price is higher than I would like, but if it sells well maybe the price will come down someday. I can’t afford to replace it often, but it is great to help the bad weeks to heal up some of the damage in my throat.

It tastes good and it seems like it works. I cannot find an expiration date on it and would like to know the shelf life. I was about to use and it looked like the container had expanded a lot. I opened it over the sink and a lot came out fast with the inside pressure that had built up. I don’t feel comfortable taking it now because it seems like it has spoiled.

This works fast and is so easy to take. Plus it tastes so good, just a mouthful of caramel. I was waking up every night with reflux even taking Prilosec, this did the trick immediately. I learned about it on Doctor Radio SiriusXM 110 from one of the physicians that created this.

This stuff is DELICIOUS! I ordered the vanilla caramel and love the taste. BUT, the best thing about it, IT WORKS! I take it right before I go to bed and sleep with my head elevated. Now I can enjoy coffee again. Great product!

As a vocalist (speaker & singer), I can't be coughing and clearing my throat hours after a meal and into the night. Honestly, I haven't noticed a tangible difference when I do/don't use this gel. It may vary a lot on what I ate, how much, how long ago, and so on. And the US FDA doesn't back its claims. But like vocal exercises, and FDA-approved meds, it's another weird thing that separate medical professionals have prescribed to me, so it's sure worth trying for a while. The flavor's not bad, so I just think of it as sneaking a spoonful of frosting for dessert. This tube is much easier to use than those dang packets too.
