Gardenia Essential Oil Perfume

First of all the shipping was very fast, which is much appreciated. Secondly, it was packaged nicely and even came with a personalized, hand written letter which I thought was a really awesome touch. But most importantly... this is GENIUNE gardenia oil. I rolled it on my wrist and right away it struck me as very floral (it's a flower, so duh). It really doesn't seem to be mixed with anything else. It smells like actual gardenia flowers-which also makes it perfect for layering different scents! Now, hours later, after only a small amount on my wrist I just keep getting magnificent whifs of true gardenia. It's a high quality concentration that lingers. Honestly, the longer I have it on the more the scent unfolds. I love it and have tuberrose and plumeria on my list to purchase next. Just amazing.

I was very disappointed. This does not smell like the other Gardenia scented perfumes I have. It's more like a Jasmine scent. I don't live in a state where gardenias grow so I'm totally dependent on perfumes for reference. I notified the company and got no response. Very poor customer service.

Not the wonderful gardenia scent I had hoped for. It soon wore off.

not quite what I was imagining. I was hoping for something sweeter and more floral. This perfume is buttery and a bit more mature. Deeper. Has a nice lingering scent. I like to layer it with the Plumeria to get that spicy sweet tropical flower smell. very authentic, smells like a real flower!

Okay, repeating myself a little here because I bought 4 of these perfume oils. Along with this I bought the pikake, tuberose and plumeria. These are identical in scent to the actual flower, I was seriously suprised at how authentic all the scents were. I really expected gardenia to be my favorite, I also thought it would be the strongest floral fragrance out of the 4 but this one was definitely softer. It also smelled exactly and I mean exactly like a gardenia. My mil used to have them in her backyard and as soon as I smelled this I was like wow, this is real gardenia. I think all the years I wore a gardenia fragrance I got used to that overly sweet, sometimes cloying gardenia from artificial fragrances. This is not that, this is lovely and light and not full of synthetic fragrance and alcohols

I grew up with gardenias, I grow them now. I've sniffed hundreds of gardenia scented products and perfumes. Only twice have I detected true gardenia notes -- once was many years ago, a tragically discontinued Votivo candle. The second time was today, with this perfume. It's not "just like" the flower to me, but the notes are there in a subtle, slightly smoky, musky fragrance. Love it. Most perfumes are too strong and give me a headache. This does not, is not cloyingly sweet.

it smells just like a gardenia, and is the first I have ever had that really brought them to mind. I am trying to grow them, but have had little success. this lets me enjoy the fragrance while I dream about a bush of my own.

Love love love the scent. Smells exactly like the flower! It lasts about 3 hours but I am very pleased with the product. Also, my mother is not sensitive to the smell.
