This flux is unlike anything you have ever used. Not only is it good for soldering but it protects your metal from fire scale. Apply Pripps in a spray bottle, heat the metal, spray on the flux, heat the flux until the flux turns white, add your solder, then solder your piece. Re-spray Pripps if necessary. Once use use Pripps, you won’t want to use any other solder.

Great Flux
I'm a metalsmith artist and this is one of the flux I use for my sterling silver jewelry. Not only is it a flux for soldering but helps protect the silver from fire scale.
