What is the difference between ground green cardomom and the other(s)? Some are a light, golden beige, whereas this is green.

There are three different colors in cardamom. Green, white and black. Green cardamom ground from the pod has the "most vibrant and balanced" flavor. This band, "Simply Organic" is wonderful. I've used McCormick cardamom and it is far more expensive and not as rich in flavor. I also like the bottle lots better than McCormic, the opening is larger and you can fit 1/2 teaspoon measure right in the tap and use the cover for leveling. I can't really say as all the bottle says is "organic cardamom". Their web site says it is elettaria cardamom, aka green or true cardamom.

Not sure what the origin is but it is distributed by Frontier Natural Products Co-Op, Norway, IA USA
